Welcome to the forum, Movieben. While I understand the frustration of SCOOB! not being in theaters, I'm confused as to why June 19 was specifically chosen as a date. Is l so don't know where you're getting the info that everything will be reopen by June 10. No country has announced a full reopen yet, as far as I know. We don't really know when theaters will be safe to reopen, so as a suggestion, if you want WB to take your petition seriously, I would recommend putting that date way further in the future, like maybe even as far as next year. Also, just as a general comment to those still wanting to see SCOOB! in theaters, we all would have loved to have Scooby get his first animated theatrical release, but I think it's important to realize that WB likely put a lot of thought into the difficult decision to postpone SCOOB!, taking into consideration that two trailers had already been released, a lot of money was spent on marketing, and the fact that it could be a while before theaters reopen back up. I hope my comment doesn't come across as a criticism of your petition, but I also think it's important to realize that there's a lot of planning and consideration that goes into releasing a movie, especially during these stressful and uncertain times, so it's not just like WB randomly decided to pull it because they felt like it. If another theatrical date were to happen, it would very likely have to be way in the future and not in the next month or two.

Another thing to keep in mind is that even in June it is very likely we will still need to social distance and do our best not to pass on the virus. I know it's a bummer that the movie won't be getting a theatrical release, but I feel releasing it on streaming devices is a better alternative; releasing movies in theaters right now and even in June would not be a good idea for obvious reasons. Try not to take this the wrong way, but I feel people's safety is more important than a film, even if it is about Scooby.

I think something they could do is go ahead and release it on demand now, but wait until the same date next year. That way it’s a kind of celebration of the movie.

But who's then going to go to see it then? It'll also be competing against all the new films. If they release it via other means IMO it will get at most a limited theater release.

Thanks everyone. I picked June 10th because that's the latest re-open date for any state (Virginia). It could be later, but I guess what I'm saying is that I'd rather see the movie in the theaters than on the small screen, even if we have to wait a little longer.

I think polish version will be released traditionally in cinemas, there is no news about a possible VOD service. There are predictions that cinemas will start to operate in July, under heavy sanitary regimes, of course.
