I really liked SCOOB!, so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it as much. I'm really not sure what to expect from King Arthur's Court. Courage, I imagine will be a fun crossover but will probably be one of those that has continuity issues like Return to Zombie Island/Curse of the 13th Ghost since it was announced that the creator of Courage was not asked to be a part of this project. Still hoping for the best though!

No one mentioned it yet but Maxwell Atoms did an interview with RebelTaxi and something he said puts a bunch of this in new context. He said Happy Halloween was supposed to come out Last Year. It apparently was the intention to have three movies come out on Scooby's 50th year but they didn't get them all done in time. So Halloween was always supposed to be before King Arthur, we just learned of King Arthur first.
He also said he believes there was another version of the script for the third movie before he got involved. I would imagine this might mean the third movie was originally going to be a sequel like the previous two, but looks like they scrapped that and let Atoms do what he wanted and the only things he was mandated to do were 1. it be halloween themed, 2. the sheriff be the bad guy and 3. Elvira was involved. I think odds are Elvira was introduced in Return to Zombie Island to set up a bigger role in the third and they had intended the sheriff to dealt with somehow at the end of the third movie.
One other thing that this majorly changes. We had been thinking there was no Tom and Jerry movies after Willy Wonka due to them stalling after that movie's reception. It actually may be they pushed Tom and Jerry aside when they decided to try to make three Scooby movies in 2019 and the failure to do so in time, has now caused the slowdown we are dealing with right now.

I thought the direct to video Tom and Jerry movies were put on hold so they could work on the live-action theatrical one set to be released next year.

I don't think the Warner Animation Group responsible for that and Scoob are the same as the units that do these movies. People may cross over and work on both but I don't think one was going to take money or time from making it. Releasing it however is another issue.
But in this case given that Happy Halloween was Halloween themed, if it got bumped it was going to have to sit out a whole year anyway to be relevant.

Those might not have gotten the memo yet about the delayed release.

So what do we think about the new movie? Straight Outta Nowhere Scooby-Doo Meets Courage The Cowardly Dog. Thoughts on it?

So I'm not sure if this needs its own topic yet and I thought this was an appropriate enough thread to share- "Behind the Scoobs" posted a look at a script labeled 2023. Might be in production, unless it's just a pitch or somehow it was cancelled already (worst case scenario I suppose) http://instagram.com/p/C2EMJj1r5Wv
