Meh, bland. Usual childish jokes and just plain boring. I officially hate this series.

That's sad to hear, but I'd already pretty much come to the conclusion that guest celebrities aren't the best format for Scooby. I already had that inkling after New Scooby-Doo Movies, but this show pretty much disproves the idea that it was that the episodes were too long that was the problem with the former.

I never knew the first season of Guess Who had more than 13 episodes, to be honest. But I am looking forward to seeing the Whoopi Goldberg episode, and later the Bill Nye episode.

This was a pretty decent one, though not amazing. Whoopi seemed like she was really into the role, which made me like her quite a bit as a guest star. The Nightmare Ghost was genuinely pretty creepy and gave me Slenderman vibes!

I agree with you doo 🤩 I have also been able to see this and I loved it, it is my favorite so far, the spooky atmosphere the best monster of the series so far and whoopi was a great guest star she really enjoyed doing it🥳

To be completely honest, I can't even watch this particular incarnation. Everything about it is so unnatural and forced. It feels like some of the sloppiest writing I've ever seen, and that's saying something. The animation is oddly off putting as well.

I find the series unengaging, I start watching an episode but soon give up, it's like SDWAY but on tranqualisers. I can't quite place it but it all feels a bit off, like they were follwing a recipe but missed a key ingredient. Perhaps the writers will hit their stride in the later episodes.

I liked the wintery setting in this one and the monster's design was really creepy and cool, gave me Slenderman vibes too. Whoopi Goldberg was a decent guest sar.

This is definitely one of the best episodes of this series so far. Whoopi Goldberg was a fun guest, I genuinely did not expect the culprit to be who it turned out to be, and DEAR GOD THAT NIGHTMARE GHOST IS THE MOST HORRIFYING THING I've seen in Scooby-Doo in a VERY long time.

Did anyone else notice the animation of the Scooby gang was kind of off at times? They seemed to be kind of off-model on occasion. Probably because of NE4U Inc. doing the animation services here, since past episodes were animated by Digital eMation and Yeson. But regardless, Whoopi was a lot of fun here! I liked seeing her rendered in the classic Iwao Takamoto style.

Velmas line about fbi & law enforcement using psychics in cases really pissed me off, because that is absolutely not true. And it's absolutely irresponsible on the shows part to have the gangs intellectual pass off that falsehood as true.
The episode itself aside from a cool monster design was bland as whoppi was given nothing to work with.

Psychics aren’t officially recognized by law enforcement and scientist in general are extremely skeptical of them. So it’s not something that has been scientifically accepted. Maybe they did that so Velma and Whoopi’s character have no conflict?
