This year we got two movies with 3 songs in total. Which one did you like best? I absolutely loved "Scoobystition" because it really fit the chase scene with Asmodeus. On the other hand, I hated "Sweet As Candy" because a movie that was supposedly a sequel to Zombie Island needed a song similar to "It's Terror Time Again", not a cheesy love song.

Well, not "Sweet as Candy" for sure as it was a very cheesy love song that didn't fit the tone at all. "Scoobystition" was pretty good though, so I'll go with that one.

I have too much of a sweet tooth for bubblegum pop, so "Sweet As Candy" for me.

I have too much of a sweet tooth for bubblegum pop, so "Sweet As Candy" for me. It wasn't bad a song itself, I mean I can see it fit in a Scooby chase scene, mostly Where Are You or Be Cool. Just not in a sequel of the darkest Scooby movie in history.

Honestly "favorite song" and "most fitting song" are two different categories. "It's Terror Time Again" knocks "Sweet As Candy" and "Scoobystition" out of the water contextually. (Although, If I had to rank those three, Terror Time probably comes out ahead ) Although I was a bit disappointed by the """"sequel"""" to Zombie Island, I think a highlight was the new chase songs added to Scooby canon - even if it sort of didn't fit the tone (well, what the tone should have been).

I really enjoyed how "Scoobystition" was done in a 1980s style, probably to reflect how "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo" was made in the 1980s. Though "Sweet as Candy" was also a fun throwback to the silly bubblegum pop chase songs from "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" but a little out of place with "Return to Zombie Island" (I think they used it to tie into the franchise's 50th anniversary.)
