YESS! I always get excited when a new movie comes out. I also translated the plot and hopefully this is going to be as good as it seems

Someone on my blog just shared with me that Shaggy is called Sammy in the French version of the franchise, for some reason. I was actually confused about that before too. I fixed it in my post now. He’s called Salsicha in Portuguese lol

Amazon France lists "Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob!" as the next DTV, which is undoubtedly a retitling of this film. Maxwell Atoms will write the film again and it will be 72 minutes long. The film will be released in France on February 24, 2021, so I imagine other countries will get the film around the same time. Here's a translated description of the film: Find Scooby's gang as they are cursed by the ghost of Morgan Le Frey and sent back to the time of King Arthur, who is under the control of a evil witch. Wanting to cut himself a piece of cheese, Shaggy involuntarily pulls Excalibur from his stone which sows doubt on who is the legitimate sovereign! Merlin, the legendary wizard, appears and declares that the throne of Camelot must be played out in a duel! Our heroes then make every effort to try to win the tournament, break the spell under which King Arthur is and find the way to the present! www.amazon.fr/Scooby-Doo-Sword-Scoob-Maxwell-Atoms/dp/B08NZDQFK8/Indeed this sounds like a Goblin King-type of adventure (which is quite underrated imo). I’m looking forward to it and I think the mystery has going to have a rational explanation in the end tbh

I think if it is a supernatural adventure, Maxwell Atoms is a great choice for it. However not going to be fond if he wrote Daphne like he did in the previous movie.

Goblin King doesn't rank quite that high for me, but it's definitely in my top 10 and I agree it's super underrated! One of the best movies post-2001.

Yeah, "Goblin King" doesn't rank that high for me, but I do like how they experimented with bringing back real supernatural beings in that one, and the Halloween setting, along with how it mostly focused on Scooby and Shaggy (maybe it was because of how "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" and the 2004-2005 movies seemed to focus more on Fred, Daphne and Velma, and so by this time they reversed that and had the movies focus more on Shaggy and Scooby?)

I do like the aspect of having for once a real supernatural case(Zombie Island the best example) but Goblin king was just bad for me.
I hope Velma is not going to be annoying like in 13th Ghost or Return to Zombie Island. I like what they did lately with Daphne expecially in Happy Halloween and hope Fred is not going to be just focused on nets or The Mistery Machine. I really miss Fred's personality like in the Live-Action movies( the first and the second one, not the ones with Robbie Amell).
I really don't know what to expect from this movie. I'm really looking forward to this one, since the last movie Happy Halloween was a good one.

I hope the movie has a logical explanation. I prefer when Scooby is just a man in a mask and nothing supernatural is involved. To me that’s true Scooby. I like when Scooby Doo is dark yet still has that classic feel similar to Camp Scare.
I also HATE Goblin King I think it was the worst Scooby movie ever made. Daphne & Velma was a better movie than Goblin King even.

I also hope this movie is going to be like Abracadabra Doo or Camp Scare.

Does somebody know when this is going to be released in Italy? Since they don’t release DVDs in Italy anymore and just show them on tv we have to wait til we see it on Boomerang’s schedule. But it should be released in February as well if COVID didn’t slow down the dubbing process
