Wow, I didn't even know the 13th was the big day. Luckily I wound up watching some Scooby that night anyways. Happy 50th Scooby Doo!

A little late, but a belated Happy Birthday to Scooby! 50 years is pretty impressive and he doesn't really show his age (and neither does anyone else from the gang). The franchise is still going pretty strong and I presume we'll hear more about Scooby for years to come. So I missed on posting on Friday, but I didn't really get around to watch much Scooby that day anyway. I did get a chance to check out "What a Night for a Knight" from the original series since that's the episode that started it all. I also watched that "Mecha Mutt Menace" special from a few years ago (as it happens I have been kinda in the mood for giant robot cartoons and movies lately, so this fit in so well), and trying to catch up on the new Guess Who? episodes I checked out the one with Urkel (which also had robots, but not really giant robots ). I wanted to include something new in my mini-marathon.

Happy belated birthday, Scooby-Doo! It's been a blast being part of the fandom of an iconic pop culture figure. To celebrate, I watched the 50 episodes that were on the compilation set (not from that DVD but from others and online) throughout September, plus whatever new Guess Who came out and this year's movies. I'm still not done since I plan to watch the Batman movie and New Movies episodes this weekend to celebrate Batman Day on Saturday.
