I thought the animation in this one was super lazy or something. The storyline itself was kinda cool but weirdly executed. I saw Daphne’s mime quirk coming back from BCSD, which was cool. Also I loved the fact that the villain was so not predictable, I was genuinely surprised (even though the motive was kinda lame but ok). Enjoyed the background paints a lot and how they created the hotel and stuff but wow the animation quality was bad. Also finally got a woman as a secondary character even if she was extremely useless and felt like they could have done without her. Weird episode overall, still better than some of the rest tho

This one was actually ok, they're actually making some progress! The rabbit monster costume was actually pretty scary for a Scooby-doo "villain"!

Oooh, anyone spot the painting of the Native American Witch Doctor from "Decoy for a Dognapper" in one of the hotel corridors?
LOL at Velma intentionally losing her glasses as an attempt to trick the rabbit monster! When it just cut to her crawling looking for them, saying her famous phrase in a rather forced manner, I knew it had to be a set-up.
Really, a fart joke? As if Shaggy and Scooby's burp and fart contest in the 2002 live-action movie wasn't enough? Blech!
I also enjoyed the gang's reactions when they see they caught someone they hadn't met before. "IT'S... IT'S... huh?!" That's very rarely happened to them since Warner Bros. Cartoons took over the franchise.
Anyone else reminded of "Die Hard" during the hotel demolition?
Wow, I thought Teller would've just been hypnotized by the villain to act like the rabbit monster, not be the mastermind behind it all! I wonder if we'll get any more episodes where the guest start is partly or fully responsible for the case? Heh, using the cardboard cutouts on a model train reminded me of that bit in "Home Alone" with Kevin rigging a Michael Jordan cutout on a model train set as part of his fake Christmas party to ward off the burglars! (And when Scooby stepped on the model train tracks earlier, I figured that's what was done as part of faking the monster attack.)

I liked this episode quite a bit. Penn and Teller made good guest stars, but I totally agree with Scoobylover's "weirdly executed" comment. It just felt slightly off, can't put my finger on why though. I enjoyed Daphne's quirks coming back, it was a genuinely spooky location, and it was cool we finally got to see a female minor character. I really enjoyed Tess as a character in general. Penn seemed a tad bit stiff at the beginning (especially with the "ghosts aren't real" comment). The fart joke was really stupid and I was disappointed that they did that. I also liked that we had two villains here, sort of like they often did in The New Scooby-Doo Movies. It was a nice callback. Overall, good episode!

I liked it. The plot was interesting. I like how they snuck the Witch Doctor in there. The ending surprised me. I thought he might escape the demolished building like Rufus Raucous.

Neat episode! The setting was interesting and I figured out Teller was behind it all almost halfway through it because he was constantly trying to impress Penn with magic tricks. This didn't ruin my fun though. I liked this one.
