I am so hyped for this. FINALLY. And of course now that those episodes will be officially released, they'll be popping up on Boomerang's app! Hopefully they're there by late September (since the collection releases in early July).

To think it was only a few days ago I posted with the Paw Paws news this release wasn't such a pipe dream and BAM there it is. This is excellent news.
It would appear The Addams Family episode is still missing even though WB is still selling the 70s HB Addams series? Is there something else wrong with that episode? Or are they just maybe thinking they'll have it fixed before they do the 90s Adamms Family cartoon?
So it's clear WB actually spent some of the money from all the years of releases to clear up some stuff for the big HB push (that now is probably going to be bigger now that they own Cartoon Network). Given the way they released this, I wouldn't rule out similar sets to finish the holes for The Scooby Doo Show, Dynomutt and Laff-a-lympics in the future. These might not happen this year but I think they will eventually happen.
EDIT: WBShop has these up for pre-order and several of the usual sets have been updated from HB Diamond Collection to Scooby 50th Collection. Namely Scooby Doo/Dynomutt, Laff-a-lympics Spooky Games, Scooby/Richie V1. What's New Scooby Doo is now compiled into one set. A few movie collections now have the branding.
Obviously given they didn't do them all, this can leave some speculation if there's another wave between these first sets and Scooby's 50th.

And now it looks like WBshop changed their minds on carrying releases specifically with the slipcover. They've looked to have redone every one of them to the previous branding. Although the New New Scooby Doo Movies sets and the What's New Scooby Doo Complete Series sets now have new links.
This is one of those times I'll just say that as long as the material is on the disc I can live and let live on the packaging....because otherwise it would drive me insane how inconsistent it is. I do expect all the in-store releases of each of these will be carrying the 50th anniversary cover though regardless.

So has anyone gotten this and can they confirm if the Blu-Ray version of the Almost Complete Collection has all of the episodes in their original formats? I know on Boomerang, The Weird Winds of Winona has a brief stretch with absolutely no audio, and in another thread, someone mentioned that an entire scene of Velma explaining what counterfeiting is to Shaggy was removed from The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair.
I just ordered the Almost Complete Collection and it will be arriving on Thursday, so I'll be sure to let you guys know just in case.

Warner has replaced the Josie episode on iTunes for The New Scooby-Doo Movies to correct the out of sync audio and the episode they used has the original opening sequence fully intact.
