Hopefully we'll get more information in the days between Christmas and New Year's. Hopefully, a release date and some new guest that will appear.

They might wait until after the appeal case is settled before announcing too much news on Guess Who and Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs. I don't think the shows themselves are in danger at all there, but obviously there might be a few changes that will happen with Boomerang and the app because of it. So just in case they may want to wait and see how that plays out, and then make the bigger announcements.

It's still a possibility the US Department of Justice forces AT&T to sell off Turner. And on the other hand if AT&T re-organizes Turner and gives them the same goals they gave HBO, a lot of the old Turner way of doing things are probably going to change. Which both options are promising for those of us critical of how Boomerang has been handling the airing of new Scooby series.

I wouldn't doubt these being the actual designs. The Penn & Teller episode storyboards that were released earlier this year were more or less the current direct-to-video look/Iwao Takamoto's original designs.

http://instagram.com/p/Bq0MG4UhKhG The same guy posted this poster on his Instagram with a closer look at the design. Looks so nice! Gives me retro vibes and reminds of Animaniacs a bit. Fred especially looks so well done, close to the original.

Fred especially looks so well done, close to the original. If that's actually really how they're gonna look, I'm really excited! Fred almost looks like he could've been pulled from the original WAY! Seems like the people behind GW took a look at the criticisms surrounding BC's artstyle and decided that a return to a look as retro as possible was what was needed - excellent call if so!

I'll be super interested to see how those designs actually move. Those designs look like they have the potential to be very expressive.

Really liking these new designs. Possibly my favorite look since WBA took over the role of making new Scooby media.

I must say these are really cool designs, super retro-y and reminiscent of Where Are You! I hope these end up being used!

I find this even better than the current animation style. If it is the actual design of Guess Who animation, it would be a great improve of the Scooby Doo franchise quality

Some people have said it reminds them a bit of the excised animated opening from the 2002 movie. If it has the classic flat coloring, but largely fluid animation of that, I'd be pretty excited.

Seems like most people reaction to the animation style is positive, so this series is already off to a great start compared to Be Cool, Scooby Doo! I remember people just attacking that show because of the animation style. If you haven't seen Be Cool because of it animation I would definitely recommended it.

Be Cool has some of the best comedy writing of the modern period, a shame the animation is the second-worst in the franchise only surpassed by Get a Clue.

Can people still stop saying "the animation" when they actually mean "the character designs". The production design may have been wonky but the animation on both shows was top notch. Certainly better than the cheap, messy animation on The New Scooby-Doo Movies and The Richie Rich Hour shorts (both of which used the original character designs).
