There was an actor's name added to the voice credits in Season 2, called "Barry Richards", whom turns out to NOT be the "Barry Richards" Web sources keep claiming (though, they also say this guy had actually provided Season 1 extra voices as well...UNcredited).
What sparked my interest in this had to do with the fact, that: there was a very well-known nightly DJ in Washington, D.C. in the '60s/'70s named "Barry Richards" (the person I thought it was referring to). However, THIS "Barry Richards" IS NOT the same person as having acted in SDWAY. Barry Richards -the DJ- had a mellow/"hip cat", fast-and-loose radio personality; in addition to, hosting a regularly scheduled (local) Bandstand show in D.C. (from 1967-1973) AND a nightly radio show. He was not in California in 1969-1970 to have possibly done anything the Web is (incorrectly) attributing to him.
BUT...
THERE WAS ANOTHER "BARRY RICHARDS"!😲:
(The other) Barry Richards was a journeyman IMPRESSIONIST and NOVELTY RECORD PRODUCER in the early-1960s out of Las Vegas. His "claim-to-fame" (relevant to SD, you'll soon discover, in more ways than one!) was, that, when (future songwriting legend) BOBBY HART left home from Phoenix, AZ. and (initially) tried to get nightclub singing gigs in Vegas as a struggling young talent; he met Richards (already having a record contract) and Richards gave him contacts in the music publishing business. Hart's autobiography from three years ago describes the scene in 1961 and tells of how good Richards was at mimicking on the spot characterizations...so: THIS is your "Barry Richards"👉

an in-depth interview with Hart that he mentions (after scrolling-down a lot) his Hanna-Barbera activity with Danny Janssen and Austin Roberts

[As an aside: Hart was just as much a key figure in the SD/Josie musical supervision as Janssen/Roberts were. Following the separation of his successful songwriting partnership with Tommy Boyce and six-years' before accompanying Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz on a Japan tour, Hart and Janssen worked exclusively together (1970-1974); supplying multi-media platforms (tv/records/1 film) with self-generated musical content.
SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, for example, may be credited to Austin Roberts; however, the production of that one always sounded like it stood out above the others (where you think they'd considered it professionally release-able?) and: that co-lead vocal IS BOBBY HART.]
