Has anyone found information about what the next scooby movie will be like? I suppose it will be released around February 2019 and the trailer we will see about November you think it will be another Crossover? 🤔😭 I hope it's a normal classic movie. and I hope it is as good and dark as the last. the writer of the gourmet ghost movie tim sheridan is working on two more projects of scooby surely in another dtv and in the new series I think🤔,😍and I think it was good that Warner invited that new writers like him who had never worked in scooby. I think it's great that he does more scoobys. I think the gourmet ghost movie is the best in years, even dealing with a crossover that we're all fed up with.I also surely in 2019 we will get some movie written by jim krieg one of the best writers that scooby has one of the creators of the series whats the new scooby doo and is behind of greats episodes of sdmi and movies like frankencreppy and also wrote the brilliant scoobynatural.

The next movie should probably release sometime in early January to mid February, so will probably get a trailer in December or by the earliest in November. Hopefully, with next year being the 50th year anniversary for the franchise they make both movies original movies instead of crossovers as i'm sure many Scooby fans would be a little upset if we get another crossover. With it being the 50th anniversary for the franchise maybe will get that darker tone movie.

Supposedly there's a sequel to the KISS movie coming at some point, as well as the theatrical film in 2020. I also hope they won't do crossovers and go back to a darker tone for the 50th anniversary.

I heard about the KISS sequel awhile ago and haven't heard anything since. If were lucky if might be an episode for Guess Who or maybe they decided to just do a regular movie, hopefully. Also about that theatrical film, I don't know if that still gonna happen. Usually when a movie get delayed a few years later and without any progress being made since it was officialy delayed, then that usually means that the film is going through a bad development process and it may never see the light of day.

If they were to do a major crossover reintroducing notable HB characters, I'd prefer they leave the Scooby gang out of it and take a route similar to The Good, The Bad, & Huckleberry Hound.

I do not see anything wrong with the project

I agree, I think the idea falls into the category of 'just because you can, doesn't mean you should'. It just a cheap idea to cash in on the Marvel and DC cinematic universe. Universal tried doing it with the Universal Monster and looked how that ended up, a complete catastrophe. Hopefully, they abandoned that idea entirely.

I know of a couple films that had this same issue and unfortunately never saw the light of day. Also, if the movie does come out I just hope they trash the whole shared universe and do something else instead. Shared universe to me screams crossover and I really don't want to see that.

News in general is a bit dry, but in this area of WB no news ins't exactly bad news. They do like slipping out some things and concealing others. We're kind of one of the most up to date on looking for news here. So they probably want some things to surprise even people like us. (In which case who saw a Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm series and a Scrappy Doo cameo coming in 2018?)
On the other case I guess I'll be the main dissent here and say that I'm very hopeful of a Hanna Barbera Cinematic Universe. As long as it stays true to how HB handled crossovers that is. (Two of my top five HB shows are crossovers) Properties shouldn't have to give up what made them interesting for a big budget cinematic universe. Especially the ones who were doing that kind of thinking on tv and film for decades. (like Toho, like Universal Monsters, like Hanna Barbera, like Full Moon Studios)
I trust Tony Cervone. Dax Shepard is still untested in this. My hope still springs eternal for Scooby and his fellows to get this going. Because if in the end we get a movie that barely resembles the classic Scooby and the currently fun dtvs, this scooby addict is going to be rather perturbed.
