Daphne and Starchild's kiss was cut to a few seconds in the Italian version. Fred talking to them while they kiss doesn't show up in it

Well Starchild is old enough to be her grandfather. True that but what happened to suspension of disbelief?

i wouldnt call it censorship, but rather editing to help with pacing.

i wouldnt call it censorship, but rather editing to help with pacing. I'm pretty sure it was censorship. They even cut Fred's lines while they were kissing. Why wouldn't they do that in other movies then. Pace has nothing to do with it

censorship would be, for instance removing the kiss entirely. cutting out freds commenyts arent censorship anyway.

It's possible that it could be a bit of both. They had to cut scenes for time, and they decided to cut that one because they thought it was the age difference was inappropriate? Just a thought.
