It started out fairly fast paced-the apocalypse happened, the race to find the cure...and then the race to find the cure lost steam. It's now in the background, and I just feel like the story's just hit a crawl, like it's not some mystery set in the apocalypse but just some soap opera with the apocalypse as the background. Which is totally OK, if you dig that sort of thing, but I for one am getting fed up with this series's lack of direction. They're stuck in a mall...doing stuff...and...when the heck are they going to find a cure? They're just wanding around. Like I literally reread the synopsis for Issue 26, and they were talking about "A threat may threaten to kill of the survivors!" And even though it might have seemed interesting, after literally ten issues of this I couldn't help but role my eyes, because unless the writers decide to pull a fast one on us again and roll out a story completely different from the synosis, then that's gonna happen. Again. Woo. Ten imaginary bucks says that in another ten issues, they're going to be doing this again. Oh, and the synopses being dishonest really bugs me. Anyone else feel the same way?
