Amazon lists the release date of the new episodes on April 11th, 2017. Now the year is wrong, but could the date be a hint?

I doubt it. April 11 is a Saturday, and new content is typically posted on Thursdays.

I should've known the Boomerang service would've treated this show the same way the Boomerang and Cartoon Network channels treated "Be Cool, Scooby-Doo" and "Wabbit/New Looney Tunes"... it sure does stink.

Notice how they've removed the New To Boom playlist from the front page because their only new content this month is one dtv Tom & Jerry movie

You'd think now would be the perfect time to add tons of new content.

Still no word on the US air date? Dang. I think everything in terms of new episodes is on the backburner due to the COVID-19 saga. Not limited to Cartoon Network and Amazon, but other TV networks too. It wouldn't be right to launch new episodes during such a difficult time. I can see Season 2 being put on hold until July or August, at this point.
Some current seasons of other series may be cut short because of this too, or they may end up recording the remainder of the season later in the summer, and air them in September or maybe late August.

The upcoming episodes are not season two, they are officially season one part two. The entire incarnation will have a grand total of fifty-two episodes across two seasons.

It wouldn't be right to launch new episodes during such a difficult time. Why not? Everyone's stuck at home and the episodes have already aired in other countries, so it would be the perfect time to release new episodes so people had new content to watch IMO.

Yeah, although I agree that Covid is partly to blame, Im sure it is not the only reason. I think they will premiere on HBO Max next month
