Boomerang has made it official! The new series (with a slight title change) "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?" will begin airing sometime in 2019 on Boomerang. The guest stars will be "some of the biggest names in celebrity and pop culture" according to Deadline. Newly announced guest stars include Halsey (which was a very lucky guess on my part, had mentioned her in a thread a few weeks ago), Sia, Chris Paul, Mark Hamill, Kenan Thompson, Ricky Gervais, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye the Science Guy. The series will also feature fictional guest stars including Batman (Kevin Conroy), Steve Urkel (Jaleel White), The Flash, Sherlock Holmes and Wonder Woman. Going along with the fact it's a reboot of the New Scooby-Doo Movies, the series logo is also directly based off of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? deadline.com/2018/05/boomerang-turner-scooby-doo-guess-who-yabba-dabba-dinosuars-1202396229/

Is this only on the streaming service, if it us it'll make the show US only?
That they are not only having real people will spread the appeal. Sounds like an animated version of Team-Up, sets the bar low then.

How can they meet the "real" Sherlock Holmes? He lived in the 19th century. Scooby and the gang currently live in the 21st.

Is this only on the streaming service, if it us it'll make the show US only? I would presume yes, based on the second line "The family-friendly premium video subscription service is serving up new series featuring classic animated characters. Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? brings back the Mystery Inc. gang for some sleuthing adventures with celebrity guests..." I bet it will air on TV in other countries like they did with Be Cool, Scooby-Doo. I can't imagine they'd deprive every other country of the series completely.

How can they meet the "real" Sherlock Holmes? He lived in the 19th century. Scooby and the gang currently live in the 21st. They did something similar with the I Dream of Jeannie crossover,I choose ignore those issues LOL If I didn't with TV shows I'd be driven crazy with time traveling episodes. I'm curious about what kind of animation they'll use, please go back to normal animation.

Chris Bailey as a producer sounds very promising. He has done a lot of good stufg for Disney and many more. His portfolio is great. It looks like it's his first WB work. He should bring an old-school style to the animation, hopefully. Also the logo style seems veeeery retro and classic. Hopefully they will go for the DTVs animation. Im very excited for this, TNSDN was one of my favorite series. If we think about it, the crossover formula has been used for years for the DTV movies. In the end its a very classic Scooby-Doo formula fpr which the series is renowned. Oh well, can't wait. Also, this will be Boomerang-app exlusive for the States.

It's better than I thought, I know two of these people! But I'm positive about this series and I'm very curious about the episode with a real scientist - Neil deGrasse Tyson (It didn't happen before, I think). The only thing I don't appreciate is an another superheroes crossover. Meh. I can't understand this phenomenon.

I'd personally like to see more superheroes. However, I'd like them to be ones that the gang haven't met yet, Like Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz or Donna Troy.
