Hey guys!
So honestly I am one of the younger fans here, growing up when the later series were airing. However, still, the first Scooby show I grew up watching was Scooby Doo Where Are You, quickly followed by a personal favorite of mine, 13 Ghosts. Browsing antique stores I’ve started a Scooby collection and my love for Scooby has continued to grow these past couple of years. I followed some threads on this forum before finally deciding to join in the conversations myself! It’s so nice to have others to talk to about my quirky obsession with these series so thanks you guys! Just wanted to introduce myself. Also if any of you are running the podcasts, I just started following them and really enjoy them.

Welcome to the forum, Jeepersneaker! I'm probably one of the (somewhat) younger fans as well, as I grew up when A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and some of the revival DTVs (Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, etc.) were just being released. Nice to meet you!

Welcome to the forum. 😀 I too am a younger fan, having grown up with What's New airing and SDWAY on reruns. I hope you enjoy your time here.

I am a younger fan as well...I remember being in school when the returning dtvs and WNSD were new and getting annoyed that the series finale E-Scream on Kids WB didn't air on my birthday that year (especially after that cliffhanger mystery contest and the Reef Grief episode)...but also got WAY-Pup in reruns. Glad to have you aboard!

I remember watching WNSD back around that time as well and don't remember that particular contest.

WNSD definitely holds a special place for me. What did the contest entail?

The cliffhanger mystery contest was where they would premiere a new episode and stop it just before the unmasking and online at Kid'swb.com for some Scooby paraphanelia..the viewers could try to guess the ending of the episode and on the next week the winning viewers would have their names revealed on air as sort of a pup-throwback before the new mystery of the week. I tried once but no such luck.

That sounds really interesting! So they would actually stop the episode and force viewers to wait a full week for the unmasking?
