I make quite a bit of fan art, and unless you're in the discord or know me personally it's hard to see it. I will be re-posting past stuff and future stuff in this thread to archive it. That said, here's some updates on what I'm doing now.
I think my attachment to Scooby-Doo has become somewhat of a curse. I like Scooby, but it surrounds me too much (no pun intended), and I'd like to be able to define my online personality independent of Scooby. This doesn't mean I will stop, but it does mean I want to do them less, at least less than I work to my own concepts. The Scooby-Dum Bust is nearing completion, but is missing a few key details. As usual I am posting updates in the discord. I’ll probably do more speedruns soon, tutorials are coming slowly but surely. Races are still wheneverly along with runs. The routers are on hold until I get more time off of school, sorry guys. I've also been incidentally drawing up storyboards so I can learn a bit of animation and those involve Scooby-Doo characters. Nothing large however, just a few tests before I figure out how I want to bring my concepts I mentioned before to life.

Here's a Night of 100 Frights mod I made for the Mystery Machine. Nothing huge, but I've made a sloppy skin to make it look more like it does in the Golden Key comics. I could re-make this much better now that I have more image editing knowledge but for now this is all. Here's the skins. Just drop these under Dolphin/Load/Textures to load them up. If you're wanting to make edits, keep in mind you will probobly want to figure out how mapping them on the van translates first, I did this by putting many different colors on a 128x128 image, and paying attention to where each color is on the van. Loading textures is by name, so if you don't name it properly it won't replace. goo.gl/3eisywWith so many variations with the issues, it was hard to land on a specific look but I'm glad I found one. I wish I could re-do some of the mesh of the van too so i wasn't so restricted, but the only experience I have in 3D models is with Sketch Up, so you can imagine that would not bode well here.

This is a clay bust I made in my art class. I attempted to have him as detailed as possible spots and all however I am not the best at sculpting. goo.gl/fsH9XX

I've come to understand that not every contribution with the Scooby Doo community will be positive, and this is the time that I will recognize such an occurrence. Much earlier in 2017, probobly in the late spring, I began to write posts for Scoobypedia. 2/3 uploads and hours of work into a page would be removed without warning and without changelog as to why my contribution was removed; and soon I learned that no matter how much I tried to appeal or ask for advice, I would need to trial and error all my posts or deny the website of my further contributions. I want to post this not as a warning to you but as a reminder to me that being open minded can help me avoid such issues however inevitable they may be.

usually the admins will tell you why they are removing something. did that not happen in your case?

What were the nature of the changes? That may give you a clue.
This is a fandom, as with all fandoms it is riven with factions and fanboys. If whoever is doing the admin/editorial control there has a different view of the world to you then that may be the reason.
Were you granted editorial access or did you just start hacking away at the pages unannounced?

russm is right. if you weren't given permission to make changes, that would explain why your changes got deleted.

They even deleted things that are true about characters. They insist that Shaggy's hair is dusty blond rather than light brown (to the point of locking his page). They remove things saying that Daphne's Uncle Sandy is modeled to look like his voice actor, the late Adam West.

Have you seen Scooby-Doo and the Beach Beastie yet? The character of Uncle Sandy looks just like Adam West. Also if you watch most episodes or movies, you'll notice that Shaggy's hair is light brown.

When I say source I meant does it come from DC or WB, i.e. animator reference on the colours to use and the like?

I'd rather just keep this thread neutral, its for archive more than anything. I would appreciate you dudes to disengage if you can.

I had to work very closely with the mod over at Scoobypedia. I successfully wrote up two or three video synopses but they had to be written well/completed and be empty beforehand. I had a lot of frustration while trying to do a little at a time only to have it deleted.
