I'd always thought she'd been born in 1950 (pre-Web "Who's Who" entertainment directories always listed that, as well as: she, herself, having told the blogger "Noblemania" -in a rare interview with her; around 2011- she was going on 20 when Nicole Jaffe -actually: they were roommates at the time!- told her about the vacated part)?
Most of the sites which give the 1946 date seem to incorrectly suggest her middle name was somehow "May" (others at least got "Lindsay" right). There's, of course, no way to look at any archives to see the local television she may have done in Anaheim, Cal. in the early-'60s to get a better sense of a timeline(?); however, her network tv appearances started taking-off from 1966-onward (Monkees and the Green Acres guest shots being the best glimpses of decent screen time with her) so(?)...it would not be impossible to think she was still under 20 in these mainly anonymous, youth-centric "eye candy" roles.
Ms. North-Kenney's passing is a really sad thing. As another member has mentioned; regarding Stefanianna's earlier characterization as being: "whiney" or passive, I agree. H.N.K. made Daphne evolve by downplaying her (initial) snobbish vanity and, by making her "danger prone" clumsiness look more like the result of JUST from having had a sheltered life too long...but H.N.K.'s talent communicated a girl-next-door-style empathy whose sincerity to her friends could never be doubted.

Heather North to me was the best Daphne in the entire franchise history. Sad to see another one of the voice cast gone. Rest in Peace to a talented woman.

Would anyone be interested in reading a biography of her if I wrote one? I'm really missing people of the past recently and feel she could use one. Casey Kasem likely has a biography already because of his radio work or I'd offer to write one for him too.
Heather North was married to a big producer and I'm finding that a lot can be learned about her from learning about him. There's whole books on the work he did.
