I LOVE parodies of Chuck E. Cheese's, so naturally I enjoyed this episode. (There's a great TV Tropes page about Chuck E. Cheese parodies, " Suck E. Cheese's!") It also gave me these "Five Nights at Freddy's" vibes; I wouldn't be surprised if that was intentional? Unfortunately, the REAL Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants are going to phase out the animatronics, as the episode has explained, kids are growing less interested in them. Not to mention that "Five Nights at Freddy's" has been giving them a bad image. I storyboarded on this episode. I definitely referenced Five Nights, particularly the sequence in the workshop.

Haven't seen FNaF, admittedly, but I thought I caught a hint of that during that whole scene. Brrr-rrrr. Crepey.

And, btw, I talked to Becca in person about my concerns with this episode at the time and I do not at all blame her or any of the board artists who were just trying to execute the work they were asked to do to the best of their abilities. xo

Just saw this news blurb:
"Video Game Addiction will be added to the WHO's International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). This means that those diagnosed in the UK will be entitled to be treated by the NHS. The WHO defines Gaming Disorder as "Impaired control over gaming, increasing priority given to gaming over other activities to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other interests and daily activities, and continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences." The news, however, has been met with some criticism. Dr Joan Harvey, a spokeswoman for the British Psychological Society, said that the new classification may cause unnecessary concern among parents. She added that a minority of gamers would be affected. Some experts have warned that video games can be so addictive that children often get up during the night to play them. WHO says that up to 6 per cent of children may be affected. The WHO is the World Health Organisation."

It could have been a good 11 minute episode with the plot that scooby is better than that stuffed animal but it just messed up and it's the worst episode I've seen sooby doo

On Pizza-O-Possum: -I didn't like the scene where Velma showed her calluses. Very Spongebob with the realistic art humor (not cool). -I also didn't like how Daphne teases Velma to play a video game after Velma tells her horrible backstory. And I always thought Shaggy would be the one who'd be addicted to video games not Velma. -I like the FNaF reference, very 2010.
On Curse of Half-Beard's Booty - Very short. Could've stretched it to a 24 min episode because I did like their mini adventure to find the treasure- and also Captain Cutler who could be a recurring character for the show.
The whole series is fast but these episodes went very fast.
