I was only able to see it in Hindi so I can't judge the writing yet, but the animation (especially the backgrounds) was really good. The monster looked really cool as well.

You can watch it in English! Go to Toonworld4all, and download the file that says "Dual audio" and then use VLC player to change to the English Audio. It works!

Very nice episode. I liked it a lot. Some funny scenes and the monster was creepy. The English audio was kinda bad so I didnt get things they said when the backgroud music was loud. I hope it doesnt piss goths off cause it has that potential tbh.

Oh and jcb, is the plant inspired by agent plant from Phineas and Ferb? Haha. No, he was not - the idea was simply that the Goths assumed their monster would be cool and gothy - but it's a plant monster, which bums them out.

Oh and jcb, is the plant inspired by agent plant from Phineas and Ferb? Glad you liked it. I wrote it with a very talented writer and friend, Michael Ludy. I wish you could have seen what we originally intended. Amelia was supposed to played as a more friendly, down to earth girl who we would understand that Shaggy would have a crush on. I think they made her too creepy and dark, which took the sweetness out of the romantic story for me. Also the Goth leader was turned into this odd baby person, but they kept the dialogue, which was a horrible mistake. The Goth leader was supposed be a gaunt Trent Reznor type and very flamboyant. I can see that since I know what the episodes SHOULD have been, my opinion is biased. Not knowing what I know, I'm glad the episodes still work for young's. I tend to focus not he negative, which I shouldn't, because there's still so much great stuff that was kept. Either way, I hope the remaining episodes work for you guys. I worry. The last few were changed a lot. Every word, every scene, every character is there for a reason. Any change made without considering the episode as whole, without thinking holistically about the whole episode is dangerous and can unravel an otherwise great show. Finger crossed.

The episode was still amazing! I loved just how accurate it felt to real gothic people. One of my old crushes was ironically, very Goth herself. And honestly, this episode captured how dark, and somewhat creepy they can be. But also how they can be somewhat misunderstood. Also! Props for the monster! This is my favorite monster design so far! It was super creepy and cool looking. I hope the rest of season 2 is just as amazing as this episode was.
