Sort of relevant - In the new season of Harley Quinn, James Gunn has a recurring role, where he voices himself. He's directing a movie about the murder of Thomas Wayne. When actor Billy Bob Thornton approaches him about his problems with the script, Gunn replies "It's like what Warner Bros. told me while I was writing the Scooby-Doo movie. It's all about the edit".

I just watched the episode and ran to write about it. That was the funniest thing I've seen since it's common knowledge now that he wanted the movie to be raunchy and adult-oriented. God I love this series. I am so looking forward to having this type of humor in Velma. HBO Max's quality content is unmatched

Glitch Gum, an artist I enjoy listening to, made a cover of the WNSD theme song with N.1 Ed Sheeran Fan. Just gonna say, it’s not for everyone, he’s an exponent of hyperpop, a relatively new genre which sounds like europop on crack

Interesting rendition. It reminds me of the happy hardcore subgenre.
I thought of this when you mentioned hyperpop but that's decidedly different. The song feels a lot like an evolution of 2000s scene music.
Medic Droid, S3RL, etc. though I'm certainly not linking to them.
It's interesting that after a decade and a half we're circling back around to an indie electronic sound.

There was a "meddling kids" line uttered by bad guys on an episode of Daria. Was that brought up yet?

That was so much fun, combining two of my favorite cartoon franchises into one skit. WB Animation also sure knows how to have fun with the rubber mask device; I even have a latex Wile E. Coyote mask very much like the one in that skit! It's such an incredible likeness. But sadly it's getting pretty worn out now, but I plan to upgrade to a new Wile E. Coyote costume and mask fairly soon!

This reminds me of some old Cartoon Network bumpers like these (though my memory was playing tricks and they used Creeper instead of Mr. Hyde, they both have green skin).
