Argh disappointed again. Have the writers not noticed it's kind of being dragged out? I can't believe it's issue number 12 and next to nothing has happened since issue 1. I hope they're not pushing for 52 issues at this rate. :/ Velma's brother seems to clearly be based off Trump, but why do we need to bring politics into Scooby? :S Like I said before I much would've preferred if we had classic characters from the shows fill these supporting character roles, but then you wouldn't have this odd sibling relationship. How old is Velma supposed to be anyway? Her brother is only supposed to be a few years older and he looks at least fourty. The other brother committing suicide was a good addition though, I wonder how they'll handle the others. Daphne's line of "I'm in charge" or whatever is so not her character, it's kind of a shame how wrong they got her. Scooby is just there because the title says he his, they've made him utterly useless in this issue. Velma's good, Fred's okay and Shaggy is great. As for plot there was next to none unfortanely, the issue just built up to a cliffhanger. Scrappy's short was pretty good, but why on earth isn't the boy called Flim Flam??? :/ There's also a nod to SD:MI, Where?

I came here to mention how much Velma's brother looked like Trump!

it wouldn't be the first time Trump has inspired the creation of a character, Biff in the Back to the Future Film films was deliberately modeled on him.

They also modeled a background character on him in that weird Wacky Raceland comic. I guess the writers have something about trying to connect Trump to an end-of-the-world scenario. What do they know that we don't? Did some crazy Mayan mathematician forget to carry a two or something, and that little mistake threw off the apocalypse clock by six or seven years?
