Probably not. Shaggy and Scooby have their standard designs in the coverart.

Unfortunately the movie will be DVD only, judging by press release on Home Theater Forum. I suspected only the terrible cross overs would get Blu-ray release in the future, but it is still really annoying.

direct to dvd, must not be a good film then . No, Warner Bros. no longer seems willing to take the chance on Blu-ray releases for original stories (for Scooby -Doo and Tom & Jerry).

I think we've had this discussion before about Blu-ray. Blu-ray is caught between HD streaming services on the one hand and the near ubiquitous nature of DVD players. It's a become a niche product for film-buffs not the replacement for DVD that it was expected to become.

I saw the trailer. So the ghost is using laser guns instead of real ones? Reminds me of the 80s Inspector Gadget episode "Gadget Goes West," where they did the same thing. That's kind of unusual, since "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" had REAL guns (even someone getting shot to death, albeit off-screen). Then again, they are chicken with Yosemite Sam using guns on the new Looney Tunes stuff (like "Wabbit.") It's very confusing...

Here's the official trailer uploaded by Warner. It has an 18+ filter for some reason though. youtu.be/2ISwORz63ys
