There are other tings to say but that was my abiding memory of that issue (as well as a WTSS* moment).

Loved it. One of my fave. Finally they're starting to not repeating everything over and over again. I love the scenario too. Blocked in a mall storage. I might have to start a petition to have a Scooby Apocalypse tv series asap.

I might have to start a petition to have a Scooby Apocalypse tv series asap. Sign me.up. DC have their own animation arm so it could happen assuming HB have the guts for it. As one reviewer of Scooby Apocalypse said it took DC to grow a pair and do something novel with the franchises. The Flintstones comic has been getting a lot of praise for its deep commentary of contemporary issues whilst superficially it is the most 'normal' of the reboots .

The point the reviewer was making was that it took someone else, DC in this case, to really push the HB franchise forward and open it up to a wider audience and generating twice the sales of Where are you and Team-Up combined. Then there's Flintstones, Future Quest, Wacky Races.. all of which were just left on the shelf till DC decided to do something with them.

Sales figures are out. #5 charted at 100th place in the charts with 28,148 sales down from 29,494 the previous months. This month was a bumper month for sales such that had the sales remained the same from July it would have only made 95th place in the charts this month.

Indeed. although Jetsons imo never had the cache Scooby has. and the Jetsons film in the 90s was pretty bad.
