Rello! (Hehe), I'm shaphnesince2002. I was born in 94 and got into Scooby the way most 90's kids do. Everything from WAY-Cyberchase coming at them all at once via home video, Kids WB! Or CN. Unlike most, i saw Shaphne in WNSD (hence the 2002) first rather than the older series simply based on the fact that in "Big Scare in the big easy" Shaggy was the only one who actually had any idea as to rescue daphne (following her cell ringer then using "a hot sauce laser" to cut her ropes) when she got kidnapped then later thanked him and told him he wasn't as much of a chicken as he thought nor was he as dumb as people thought he was. Then later when "Campcomeoniwannascareya!" aired i saw Shaggy using Daphne's detective methods by starting to think like how everyone else would which was also in those fun kidswb games at that time too. I even noticed the obvious matching green shirt and purse/scarf thing early on (i wonder sometimes if Shaggy has any purple in his wardrobe?) too. Then I saw the older episodes confirming it as well. It's so much more fun that way. More about me, puns, art and gameshows are other things i enjoy!

Thank you! Shaphne in my opinion is one of the only pairings that would actually work in Scooby-Doo or hb as i enjoy all hb has to offer, too bad they never had a chance to take on Riverdale and Greendale before DiC did, i enjoyed their take on Josie and wonder how they would have done it sometimes. Also I've noticed something funny about the HB pairings during the bill and joe days, it's almost always a redheaded woman with a man of a different haircolor (usually brunettes) except in Jetsons where Jane and George were both redheads.

Wellcome shaphnesince2002, very descripive name there haha. Good to have you here!
And I wouldn't really say I ship, as it were, Shaphne (to be honest I ship litte) but I do quite like the pairing. It's quite a believeable one...well that and the Daphne/Fred pairing (whatever that pairing is called), which was done pretty well in the 1998-2001 movies (and I loved the litte jokey nods to it in WNSD), has been more or less killed for me by recent series either doing it to death or go over the top with it. Cough a recent series cough...
Good point on Big Scare in the Big Easy there. I never thought about that myself, though there definetly are a few points in WNSD which could be taken as a Shaphne hint. So to speak.
