What do you think will happen in the comics run and how long do you think it'll last for?

Since the series has a mystery to be solved, which means it has a planned ending I'm guessing it will last fifteen issues. It be a nice shoutout to thirteen ghosts, if they went to thirteen different places not including the first and last comic.

Well it will run for as long as the sales hold out I'd guess. I've not heard anything to suggest that it will be limited to a set number of issues. I mean if the storytelling is good, why rush? The one thing Scooby Doo has lacked is depth of interaction and character development, this is the ideal opportunity to do this as comics are a more patient medium. To be honest I'd be very disappointing if they wrapped the whole thing up in a few issues, and I think DC would be foolish to do so.

...I'm guessing it will last fifteen issues... We're two issues in and they haven't even got out of The Complex so I think they're going to take a while.

Double post. Well I predict I'll spend more. Just pre-ordered the variants for #3 and #4

Predictions are a tricky business. I think w need to step back and see how others have followed this kind of arc for clues. I would expect an arc a bit like this...
They could have to hunt down each scientist in turn and defeat/confront/whatever them to get a bit of information. Once they have all of the bits they will probably have to travel back to The Complex to make the cure. After that it's time to pick up the pieces as I'd expect not all the monsters get transformed back into humans or similar.
We can assume that we will see their individual and collective back-stories come out and to see them form into a team. I would also hope we'll get more information on what went on at the Complex, what caused Velma to become suspicious and turn whistleblower, what caused the activation and why it went wrong.
I would also expect there to be a 'final' confrontation between Velma and at least one of The Four (think Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader). Perhaps she will be offered a part in the New World OrderTM if she joins them, or they will try to blackmail/threaten her into joining them. Either way at some point that plot-line will have to be resolved.
How long will it run for? That depends, do they have the story planned out over x issues, rather like how Babylon 5 was planned out to last for 5 (I think) series from the beginning, OR will they just keep telling the story until they decide it is time to call it a day. There are plenty of side stories that could be explored along the way.

Curse the Fraphne. What is this world coming too. One hug Fraphne does not make. Until you see the context you can't judge.

Interesting thought. I saw the Velma image but didn't notice the similarities to Fred and Daphne.

Happen to be on holiday in Plymouth (not Massachusetts, the original one - the Mayflower steps, Sir Francis Drake, pasties, cider etc...) and popped into one of the local comic shops (The Final Frontier in Cornwall Street check it out if you're even in Plymouth in the UK) chatting to the guy in the store and he was saying that Scooby Apocalypse was selling well which was good to hear.

and no, a hug, nor even a kiss, does not a relationship make. a relationship is more than a single act of affection.

Bad prediction, everything that has happened after the famous 'mole men' incident has been Velma's dream.
