One of my favorites, though not a great monster.

Well this was fun but it should be called "Shaggy meets the folks" alternatively Seeing that it was implied that Shaggy and Daphne were dating during New Mysteries/New Scrappy.

In what episodes was it implied? I know they had a business together but I can't remember any implying Shaphne except 13 ghosts, where they slept and lived together.

Daphne was seen holding hands with Shaggy in numerous episodes, both got kidnapped together in Wedding Bell Boos, and even seemed be enjoying the dance together in No thanks masked manx during which Shaggy got a kiss on the cheek, also they did sleep together prior to 13 ghosts. Also Shaphne is even implied in Happy Birthday Scooby for New Mysteries by showing Daphne to have a pair of black shoes (and a pale green/yellow headband) to match shaggy even if just for that episode. Shaphne is subtly implied in everything. Frelma is also subtly implied in everything to.

All the gang held hands, I don't think getting kidnapped is a rather romantic excursion and they didn't go by choice , Fred and Scooby both danced with her in the original. I don't think the two are shown sleeping together in any series, in 13 ghosts they showed their bedroom in a hotel which was a double so that's where I got it from. The idea of Shaphne from Daphne's outfit in Happy Birthday is an interesting idea, but I always thought it was just to freshen up Daphne's look. Is her hair and not a pale yellow too? While I wish Shaphne was subtly implied in everything, it's implied just as much as Fraphne or Shelma. Shaphne only has the upper hand as they were alone for three series.

Daphne's what you'd call a strawberry blonde i guess seeing as how SMG is blonde and generally all animation shows red as daphne's color it's just that blonde is more visible in the movies.

I see Shaphne in what you guys are saying above, except for the part of them sleeping together. No way could they sneak a reference like that into a kid's show, 'specially not in the 80's! Good episode, though.

Well, the part of Daphne sleeping with Shaggy would not fly on U.S. television, due to being perceived differently now, given they were likely teenagers. At least they never got involved in inappropriate activity.
Ironically, the laws regarding such questionable content doesn't seem to be as strict in Canada as opposed to the U.S.
Also, regarding Daphne's updated look in "New Mysteries", it appears that Daphne was also bare-legged in that series.
As for the topic at hand, the voice of the female owner of the mansion, doesn't she sound a lot like Regina Rich (Richie's mother) in the Richie Rich series?

I liked this one a lot. One of the best in the series. Personally don't care one way or the other about Shaphne or Fraphne or whatever but I enjoyed this episode

Loved this episode but I seriously loathe gorilla monsters. Also, fun fact. Once again the italian version took insane creative freedom and I wonder how much is different in the entire dialogues of every episodes, but this one was hilariously extra. For example, the title of the episode in Italian in "felines in danger" because they translated "cat burglar" literally and they kept on referring to this cat which never appeared lol. When Daphne finds the Ace of spades and figures out it's from the Masked Manx in the original version Shaggy says: "Like that's the guy we read about in the paper!" and in Italian it's: "the notorious cat from Mann Island!" Like.. so nonsensical it's actually hilarious. It's like they created a whole legend surrounding the monster just because they messed up with a translation. It's not all. When Milo comes back to the room after that scene, in english he just says: "I heard the stamp was stolen and I thought I could be of help" Daphne: "Oh you sure can, Mr. Demp" and in Italian, just to make a more complex reference to the name of the stamp (Faulty Phoenix), the dialogue goes:
Mr Demp: "The Phoenix disappeared, just like the Araba Fenice (another name used in Italy to refer to the Phoenix which translates literally to "Arab Phoenix"). You can't trust these Arabs" Daphne: "Don't be racist Mr. Demp"
Lmao... like WHAT?? where did that all come from... so funny and random. Also at the end Shaggy laughs in the original version before saying Shaggy-Shaggy-Doo. In italian, instead of the laughter, they made him break the fourth wall and say "this episode ends here"

"This episode ends here." is quite an amusing way to end the episode lol.
