Here is an experience I had in the living room of my mom's house. It's not super creepy, but it has a lot of meaning for me. My dad died in July of 2005. My son was only 3 at the time and he was having a really difficult time with it. He was very close to my dad. My parents watched him up until my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer and he started his chemo and radiation treatments. At the cemetery, when they lowered the casket, my son freaked out! He was screaming and practically threw himself on the casket so they wouldn't lower it. Fast forward a couple of days...we decided to read the book Love You Forever to my son. He was being crazy. Every time we asked him to sit on the couch, he would throw himself around and then run around the house like a lunatic. He wasn't usually like that, but for some reason, he was just acting crazy! I asked him to sit on the couch nicely so we could read the book, but he wouldn't. All of a sudden, the power went off, my son stood there staring at something, then he sat himself down on the couch and he said "Ok, I'm ready now!" As soon as he said that, the power went back on and he sat for the book. It was the strangest thing. I don't believe it was a coincidence. I think my dad told him to sit down and listen to the book. Maybe I'm crazy, but the power was only off for a few seconds.

I can see why it has a lot of meaning for you.

Yeah, it was really kind of cool. Most people see it as just a coincidence, but I know my dad was there.
