Wow...that's certainly a different and interesting storyline. I haven't been picking up the last few comics but this is one I'll definitely get. Thanks for posting j3h!

So are they going to start using Crystal Cove now instead of Coolsville?

I didn't even catch that when I posted it...interesting to see the update of locations. I didn't see that either when I made my first post. That's interesting that they would randomly switch back and forth between Coolsville and Crystal Cove.

Interesting story. But in my opinion, it's a little late to use Crystal Cove now... The show is sadly over.

Thread bump; at the start of the story, they're at the beach and it says they're in Crystal Cove. But the ending takes place in the Coolsville Wax Museum! A little inconsistent, no? This is probably the third comic story over the decades that involves Mystery Inc. being impersonated, except unlike the previous ones, this involves the crooks wearing rubber masks of the gang as well, sort of like "A Scooby-Doo Valentine," except there is no Scooby impersonator with them. (I guess that's where I come in!)

That image of Shaggy gets really old. And I'm surprised Velma doesn't have her hand up to her chest in surprise like she always does. I think the comic has reused more poses than the original cartoon did.

Wasn't Shaggy taller then Fred and Daphne close to their height? I do like the image though
