This was the beginning of the "no monsters" era with only Scooby/Shaggy/Scrappy, so I kind of always resented it for that.

This was a pretty lame episode. It was obviously testing just an adventure slapstick comedy series without the gang. They were trying to see how Scooby, Shaggy, and Scrappy would do with no mystery

I can't stand this episode! What a snooze I don't even like the Scrappy Doo shorts with the exception of just the completely bizarre and weird ones that are just crazy. But at least those are shorts and not a full length Scooby episode. This drags on more than the worst of the New Scooby Doo Movies by a country mile. With the exception of Get a Clue, which I can't stand to watch enough to give it fair judgment, this might be the worst episode in Scooby Doo history for me. I can't forgive it for what it did to cause the next series. If they had gone straight to the New Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo show it would've been fine by me. Next!

It started off like it could have been a great episode and left me wanting a Sccooby-Doo in New York full length feature. I liked the addition of Scrappy's gang but this was sort of a foundation for the next series, which we all hate I guess. The chemistry between the puppies could have been explored further and Shaggy and Scooby being victims of Scrappy dragged on for too long. I'm gonna miss the rest of the gang as I venture through the other shorts

New York at night is very colorful but it's not very Scoobyesque.
