Mm...maybe I'll check it out. This will be the first time I've watched a new movie since Abracadabra Doo.

You're welcome! Camp Scare has more storyline & spookiness to it in comparison to some of the more recent movies (IMO) and based on the movies you've mentioned liking, I think it comes the closest.
Frankencreepy is good and steers the course away from the "21st Century Entertainment Subculture Commentary/Parody" theme of the past few preceeding movies, back towards a more straight up Scooby mystery, but also has a good bit of goofy humor. Mind I like them all, but I think Camp Scare might be a good initial "rediscovering" point.

Good deal. Any other newer age Scooby movies you recommend? I've seen oodles since I stopped jumping on every Scooby-train to pass my way but it's so hard to chose because there's been so many what with the success of Mystery Inc.

Yes, I totally agree, and that Camp Scare is the best of the last many. I want HD Widescreen Remasters of Witch's Ghost and Zombie Island for posterity though, if they weren't drawn for WS then at least HD 1080p or 4K scan masters. FrankenCreepy does a really good job. Blue Falcon was really nice. Stage Fright was really well done. You're welcome!
