SPOILER FREE I watched Scooby Doo Moon Monster Madness today so I decided I would write a review for anyone interested in purchasing it. This review will be spoiler free!! I'll be writing another with spoilers later. In a star rating I would personally give it 3 stars. It feel as if they went from one of their best most exciting movies (Frankencreepy) that was rated fabulously, to a seriously bland storyline for this one. And from the reviews I've read around on so far others are thinking the same. The storyline seemed really unthought out. There wasn't near as much action and excitement as I expected and really hoped for and they gang was honestly only together a few clips in the entire movie. I can't picture any child being entertained with it completely unless they're fascinated with the space theme. The relationships were out of line and character, I personally thought. The monster seemed to just come and go, wander around and only threatened Scooby and Shaggy a few times. I honestly felt like the whole gang was wandering around most the time with no purpose or reason really. Some parts were funny, and I throughly enjoyed. Such as a part where one of the characters begins singing to Scooby and Shaggy. So hilarious and cute! The beginning was cute with Daphne and the DMV and it finished up at the end too which I also enjoyed. It's worth watching if you're a fanatic, but Im not sure it's for everyone. It's a let down in comparison to Frankencreepy in my opinion but there are some pros for sure. Just not my favorite.

Downloading now. Hopefully I enjoy it, at least it's something to sate my Scooby tooth until Be Cool airs.

I enjoyed it on and off. overall I'd say a 2, maybe 3 star rating. What is the deal with the pauses?! Oh and the robot, dear lord. Certain aspects were really annoying. I did notice the different animation when they were telling us the alien invasion story. Could this be an attempt to accustom us to the new style of be cool?

I just finished watching the movie. I did enjoy this one. I thought the alien was cool looking, there was some funny parts, and since I am a huge fan of the Alien films I really loved all the little references to those films. I have to agree though, the storyline was a little dry. This movie certainly isn't on my top favorites list but it was pretty good! I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Pretty cool movie but I think it missed some parts. The relationship between the gang seemed to go out of place. The storyline was okay, but surely Scooby franchise has done better than this movie. Personally I think they went for 'a movie unlike the others' and tried everything to make it unique and standing out, but didn't quite succeed, some things in the movie just felt odd. I gotta say the animation was awesome though! I liked it, and would rate it 3 stars too.

Add me to the middle ground too. I certainly enjoyed the movie and glad I got it, but I feel like it's one of the weaker ones on the recent totem pole. Which of course is not me saying it's bad, just more in line if i'm strapped for time this one won't always make the weekend marathon.
I am still glad they are going reference crazy in them. Although in this case I know Scooby's had a run of scifi episodes before I guess I just find it a weaker choice then from Stage Fright, Blue Falcon and Frankecreepy.

I thought the alien was cool looking Definitely agree! As much as I didn't care for the movie overall I think it was once of the most awesome looking villains.

I didn't know where to say this, but when Shaggy and Scooby unload themselves in their suits, I (or we) have it down as just urinating themselves, but I think the joke is that it's probably more than that.

Yes, kiddies, they probably unloaded a #2. Now let's all laugh because poop jokes are hilarious. [/sarcasm]

Prbably one of my faves. I give it a 4.2 out of 5. The alien was awesome, animation was flawless, most of the jokes were on point and references were a nice add. I also love the fact that some of the characters gave some messages like friendship and stuff like that, that's why we can consider this movie for kids but besides that, Ive almost enjoyed the whole movie. I love scifi movies and Scooby being in space was thrilling and kinda new. The background score ruled the whole thing and I dunno why but my favourite parts where the ones when they wandered around the spaceship with that tech sound going on. It really felt like I was in a place far away from everything and those huge hallways and rooms gave me goosbumps. The only thing that annoyed me a lot was when they were explaining the motive with that dumb animation.

In space no one can hear you scream, but Scooby-Doo is gonna disprove that. ENJOY!
