It's great that they're finally releasing this series! <3 I hope they compete the HB Scooby shows, it'll make me feel better as a Scooby fan and collector. I'd really like HD versions of the missing "New Movies" episodes as well as the unreleased Scooby Show episodes.

I'm glad this news came down, as it finally puts the icing on the cake to silence all the doubters. Now that the pattern has a Scooby set and one with Scrappy on the cover to boot, I sincerely hope there won't be much more naysayers that "those sets aren't ever going to happen" anymore. And when I say that I don't mean it specifically to this site (it's one of my favorite communities), but I did leave other communities over people being too doubtful on such things.
Now it's just waiting games, and we could still get some new to dvd episodes on the 13 Spooky Tales sets in the mean time. But I admit I am a little surprised it is this series that went next for Scooby. I had expected the Scooby Doo Show 8/Dynomutt 4 and the Second Half of Laff-a-lympics to surface before this one. But I'm not complaining, this is a pleasant early surprise.

Makes sense since it was already on iTunes. Most are on Google Play and iTunes now. Just not TNSDMysteries yet... grrr. I'd pay good money for it. Miss those and don't have a way to watch them. Used to be free on their site.

As a general note, I've mentioned it in other threads but WB is slowly trying to get their digital sides more aligned with the discs. The term myself and others used to describe the digital side was "maverick". Sometimes they just released things that had been discussed publicly by WHV or WA.
Back when those all originally came out it was one of those moments. Why they skipped that series specifically is just another one of their odd events. That side of WB's home entertainment never really had a public face. But now it is slowly getting better. I've noticed several of the non-Scooby Hanna Barbera shows are now also available in digital downloads while WA did their dvds.
I do think that series among the others should get their days on dvd and digital. It's just none of us are insiders, we just have to make guesses based on patterns and what's said. But trust me the day it comes, I'll be buying it for sure!

While I'm happy to own season 1 of Scrappy that was the most hideous cover art I have ever seen, outside of some of the overly-cute remakes from 80s/90s animation (think Secret of NIMH versus the poster art found on the early DVD release). I replaced it with some scan I found online of a Scrappy set released in the UK that has an old-school feel to it. I have the full size if anyone wants it to print for their own copy.
