I loved Scooby Doo The Mystery Begins! I have watched it over and over, it's still in my DVD player. My favorite parts are: When Scooby lands on Shaggy's bed and they toss the sheet back and forth and they thought it was a ghost, Shaggy and Scooby playing together (during the song "You and I"), when the couch collapsed, when they ate the Scooby Snacks, the disguises, and when they combined the intros from the different Scooby series'. I love it when Velma asks, "Have you been eating dog food?" and Scooby says "Yeah, Good for the coat". ;D

I loved the movie! My favorite parts were when Shaggy and Scooby dress up like garbage cans, When Scooby says "Yeah, Good for the Coat", and when the janitor says "I don't want to be the janitor....I wanna be the dance king of Coolsville!"

I liked the jaintor part too and Velma being an exchance student trying to BS it. Fred ruining the book for Daphne was funny too.

Sorry to have the first negative comment, but I really don't understand why everyone loves this movie so. I respect everyone's opinion, but it just doesn't make sense at all to me.

I didn't love it, if that counts for anything haha. It was ok, but didn't follow the actual background we've learned in the series. I also think I keep some of my real opinions of things to myself as to not offend anyone.

I thought it was an OK movie. Kind of in between good and great; not the best movie of all time, but it was a decent movie.

Just recently saw this - I have to say I haven't "liked" any of the live-action movies so far, but this one is a lot better than the first two. Better casting (sans them not caring about the hair color matching the actual characters), less toilet humor, etc.
They still can't do anything but laughably bad, bland monsters in live-action it seems, and they messed up the Scooby Snacks origin story (didn't Daphne invent those?)

There were some gaps and question marks left after the movie, but basically, it was just another reboot. The movie was really good! Even if I like the previous cast better, this one was just fine for the movie. P.S. Watched the 2002 live-action film this summer and realised that it was clearly an adult's film... Too many adult-content jokes...

The movie was amazing! It definitely helped renew my interest in the series a few years back! The cast and story were excellent, although I'm a bit iffy on Frank Welker as Scooby.
