This is the only fast scene of the movie that I didn't get... Can someone explain it to me? I feel stupid...

It goes with the sayings "When hell freezes over" "When pigs fly" and the last one is something like "When the fat lady sings" all of them mean like, something happens that never would normally happen as is kinda crazy, like shaggy and scooby not being hungry.

The full phrase is 'it ain't over till the fat lady sings' is a reference to the end of a 'serious' opera (think Wagner). It is a way of saying that things haven't finished yet even though things look like they are going to hell in a hand-cart.
