Really cool episode, with a great villain. I liked how Scooby was flattered when the pilot called him "senorita"...

I hated this one. Very thin plot, and the villain wasn't that good either. Worst of the series.

I didn't like this episode either... but not for some pretty common reason. This might sound weird, but what I hated was the screams of this monster. They were so annoying and loud... As for the rest, it was okay.

Oh... May have to rewatch it soon to understand why so many people didn't like it.

Not one of my favourite of the series. The story of a mythical creature in the Amazon was good, but i felt it was poorly executed.

I liked this episode, but the mystery plot is one that seems like the two culprits took far too many chances even for criminals of that sort.
However one thing that I find probably isn't that much on purpose but makes a surprising ammount of sense.
The costume Jaguaro here is shown to be a lot bigger than the statute that the gang finds hidden in the cave. It also emits a very odd sound clearly not like the cat you would expect it to sound like.
Fast forward years to Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, the Jaguaro in the game is much more like the statute and sounds more cat-like. Which if we assume Eric researched the actual Jaguaro legend in the Scooby world....it makes a lot more sense Cyber-Jaguaro resembles the statute more than the fake costume.

Barney's boat and the little huts out on the water are pretty cool. I have a problem with the Jaguaro changing size many times though.

Yeah, this is pretty weak. The monster design is neat, but the plot is just one big long running gag even for this show, and The Jaguaro's scream started to get on my nerve, even if it is provided by John Stephenson.

The Jaguaro's scream certainly caught me off guard and gave me a chuckle or two before it got kinda annoying. I too wish they paid more attention to the size they made it throughout the episode. It probably wouldn't have made this one much better because this was a weak effort. All episodes of this series were watchable for me, but the ones I didn't like are the one's that didn't use any imagination and are very plot thin and that is far too common is this season (certainly not all of them but it's a disappointing amount) and this episode is included. I'll join the masses and say this is one of the worst of the show. Pass!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with all of the above. This is my least favourite episode of the entire series and the only one that I would say I actually dislike. Don't get me wrong, it's still watchable - but the whole thing takes place in broad daylight, in the Amazon jungle and has some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard on the show. I found the oddly portrayed headhunters more interesting than the actual Jaguaro.

Plot: I know that this episode is not well received, and there are fair reasons for that (thin plot, poorly developed mystery, etc.), but I found it ok. I love the Amazon rainforest setting and the gang exploring it. It didn't feel like a Scooby episode, so it's not one of my favorites. 6/10
Monster: A mysterious legendary monster from the Amazon is such a cool idea for a villain, and Jaguaro had an awesome design, but his roars got annoying after a while, and despite his creepy looks, he wasn't such a big threat. 7/10
Final Score: 6,5/10
