One of the best episodes of the show. All the villains were great, I especially liked the Kelp Monster. Even though the theme of a lost treasure has been used over and over, this was good.

This one takes them diving right? I love those episodes. I can only remember bits and pieces, but it was an excellent episode.

I agree with both of you. I loved the Kelp Monster and the Octopus Monster too.

A kelp monster is certainly cooler than a seaweed monster.

Another good one. Always fun to see Scooby and the gang exploring the seas, especially considering they're actually on a ship on this one.
I think out of the three villains, the Octopus monster was my favorite of them design wise.

I do really like the Kelp Monster and the Octopus monster. However, I feel this one was dull and might be my second least favorite of the season. I feel like the plot has been done better and it is absent of what I feel is the creativity in this season. Not terrible it was just kinda disappointing when I rewatched this one for the first time in a long time

I don't really have much to say about the 3 monsters in this one, aside from the were decent enough but I'm always a sucker for a nautical adventure. The cursed "Diablo Doro" and sunken treasure made for a really fun mystery and it was cool to see the crew mutiny on the Professor ... Even if it made it so obvious that they were the culprits. I like this one a lot.

Plot: This is probably the episode I watched the most from these series, and I like it quite a lot. I know that the sunk ship with the hidden treasure is a plot we have seen a lot of, but I think they did a really good job giving us an interesting sea mystery. My only problem is that the culprits are pretty obvious. 9.5/10
Set Up: I believe this is the first time we have seen a mystery in the open sea. I like the mysterious, big, dark ocean, and the ship was also cool. 8.5/10
Monsters: My favorite part I like all three monsters. The ghost of the captain was the creepiest, and the other two had the coolest designs. 10/10
Final Score: 10/10
EDIT: I thought about this, and considering that it is the episode I probably watched the most as a kid from this series, I decided to give it a nostalgic boost so that it can have a score of 10/10.
