Decent episode, but really decent. I just wish those shorts had more of a mystery/detective plot.

I kind of wonder whether these shorts are part of the reason people started hating Scrappy. I can kind of see it, especially if people thought they rewrote the format of the show to be more action-based just to fit his personality. (I actually thought Scrappy worked perfectly fine in the regular mystery format with the whole gang, myself).

"Swami Salami?" XD ...But somehow I don't think so. The show seemed to endure well on its own, lasting 3 seasons And Scrappy was included in shows for a few more years after that (And even made some semi-regular comic appearences up until 1999.) I don't know, that's just a guess. But you don't last that long without the majority of people liking something about you...but whatever it was, a lot of people seem to have forgotten it nowadays.

Pup named Scooby Doo was really the end to the Scrappy Era,
