Quite good episode, considering it was the first mystery involving sports. But I liked other sports episodes better, like The Ghost That Sacked the Quarterback.

Probably my favorite sports episode. I really liked the villain in this one.

I liked it, but I don't know who the heck Tim Conway is!

Good episode, and pretty fun. Tim Conway is a hoot.

This episode was hilarious. Tim Conway is an old time American comedian.

Gotta love Tim Conway. Alright episode but Tim Conway was easily the star of the show. This was a pretty good sports episode

The worst episode of the series imo. Hated setting, plot, villain and guest tar with a passion

I liked Conway and Fireball is so campy it's good. Most of the music works for this one. Great setting, the stadium at night with the fog is a nice touch. I really liked how it starts out but it kind of runs out of gas towards the end.

Plot: A nice sport-themed episode. The plot was interesting, and it had some cool plot twists. There were some weird plot points, though. Where are the students, and why did Shaggy and Scooby have to compete instead? Why did a millionaire recruit a comedian for a coach if he wanted a serious and competitive team? PS Nice humor in this episode, it gave some good laughs.7/10 Set Up: Being a sports fan myself, I always enjoy a big stadium. I don't know why a high school would have such a big stadium, but I enjoyed it anyway. 7/10 Villain: One of the most forgettable villains of the series for me. Not bad, but not interesting either. 5/10
BONUS Guest Star: Same as the villain. One of the most forgettable of the series. Tim Conway was goofy and funny but not as memorable as Jonathan Winters, for example. 6/10 Nostalgia Boost:+0
Final Score 6.2/10

This episode has really grown on me. It is obviously very comedic focused with Tim Conway as the guest star, but I actually have a growing appreciation for the atmosphere and setting of the episode. It is a much more atmospheric episode than I think it gets credit for
