I have to re-watch it. But I do remember the gang with Sonny and Cher in some underground wine cellars with the shark monster. Or not?

The hotel was really, really weird.

This was okay. Sonny and Cher were pretty good, and I liked Cher's "woman superior" joke. Also the shark-god was genuinely terrifying, and the hotel certainly had an odd feel, especially since it was pretty messy.

Maybe my favourite of the series (along with Laurel & Hardy and The Addams Family).

This one was decent. It had an interesting setting. Sonny and Cher were hit and miss on humor. The Shark Demom was a cool concept but just alright in reality. The mystery and plot were decent

I think this episode was my all-time favorite episode of the "Movies" series. I especially liked seeing Daphne, Fred and Velma underwater fully-clothed, even though they were not swimming.
All four of the teens, plus Scooby, swam underwater fully-clothed in 1970's "A Tiki Scare is No Fair!" episode of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

It's so nice to be able to see all of these episodes again after the new "The Lost Episodes"/"Almost Complete Collection" releases. I remembered this episode well from various re-run showings in the late 90's early 2000's. At the time I didn't know who Sonny & Cher even were, but still found the episode entertaining and memorable.
Revisiting it again was a treat, however (and I don't know if this is just my copy of the new DVD) but this episode (so far) is the only one of the New Scooby-Doo Movies to not have a laugh track. It was completely absent, and felt starkly out of place in comparison to the episodes that directly preceded and followed. Even the timing seemed a bit messed up to me, as the pauses that normally would sustain for a quick stock laugh after the jokes felt oddly paced because of the silence.
I don't recall the episode originally being like this. I understand that, depending on the region and decade, sometimes the laugh tracks were dropped for syndication & home media releases - especially in England where this episode was released on VHS back in the day. Could this somehow be the VHS masters or something, only with upgraded picture? Or was this episode always aired without the laugh tracks?
I haven't been able to find any information on this specific episode, and just thought I'd post the question here.
Regardless, I really enjoyed this episode - even as an adult. Although, the shark plot was a tad bit convoluted and odd - even for Scooby-Doo. But, I guess that's part of the wacky appeal this episode has.

I have no idea but this episode I love and I'm a fan of the cher in reality and the curious thing that I knew her thanks to this episode. pity that is not in Spanish (my language) that I know these episodes have been released only in English and I will not buy it, that's why I was very sorry not to have them on DVD.

Yep, my first introduction to Sonny and Cher (one of my all-time favorite musicians/music groups) was through this! I prefer physical media, (and have really missed these episodes...) and just had to pick this new set up ASAP. But, I have some family who'd love a release in their native language (Spanish) too. If Warners ever releases one, I'd probably pick it up in a heartbeat as well!

TV record of course, but it is what there is. the other 15 in a previous version of dvd if they are in Spanish. the only hope that if they put it at some point in the boomerang app they have to be in Spanish obligatorily since that is the rule that has both languages.

Cher is a straight up savage in this episode, she doesn't hold back with the sass and I love it.
