I had this one in the Creepiest Capers VHS when I was a kid, and was one of my favorite episodes!

The "feed the organ" scene is reminiscent of early horror and mystery like Edgar Allan Poe sort of stuff. Awesome episode.
(Edited for spelling. Sorry!)

Classic Scooby episode. A nice retelling of Agatha's Christie's "And Then There Were None". The opening on the boat is actually quite atmospheric and creepy, especially with the thunder effect being played. When the phantom shadow first appeared as a projected ghost, it scared me as a kid.

I like the Be Cool version better. This episode isn't quite as good as people say it is, in my opinion.

The actual episode has some great ideas - but the ghost(s) themselves are among the most forgettable and lazily designed of WAY

One of the best Scooby Doo Where Are You episodes with fantastic monsters, setting, and plot. The haunted mansion on an island is great. The plot of relatives having to survive the night is great. The Phantom Shadows are also vlassic

Velma was pretty brave trying to save Shaggy and Scooby.
I wonder how those "ghosts" could both fit in that washing machine. They could've had brain injury.

Yet another all time great right here. An absolute classic that is creepy but is especially suspenseful and also is based off of my favorite novel of all time And Then There Were None. One of the best of the series

Really nice episode tho I remember it to be better. Maybe cuz Scoobynatural and the Be Cool Scooby-Doo remake shed a fresh new ligjt on it

I swear I hear the Air Force Song when Shaggy and Scooby fly out if the window.
Anyone else?

Clinging to the drain pipe? I'll have to rewatch this.
Like others said, this episode is reimagined in the Supernatural "Scoobynatural" episode, and it's based on Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None".

Has a great start with its suspense. There's some great set-pieces as the episode goes on. The gray cloudy island setting fits the premise of the episode well. I liked the fact that there were only two Shadow ghosts instead of more, that was a smart choice. The Ghost of the Bad Humor Man could've knocked this one out if some stuff were redone imo but I think this one surpasses it.
Rating: 8.8/10
