this is one of those episodes I wish was longer so that we got some more hints, the world-class humanoid robot working at some guys Funland seemed to come out of nowhere

Plot: As a kid, it wasn't so interesting to me, but adult me notices a clever and way ahead of its time plotline. The fear of robots and their usage for replacing humans is futuristic and so cool for a late 1960s cartoon (even if they didn't intend to). 7/10 Set Up: I'm not the biggest fan of carnival set-ups. I don't think it's bad, but there's nothing worth mentioning either. 5/10 Monster:First case of the bad guy not really being the bad guy. Charlie is a favorite of mine because he is such a great and lovable character, and Sarah didn't have any bad intentions at all. . 8/10
BONUS Nostalgia Boost: None at all. I found the lack of a bad guy boring as a child, and it was one of my least favorites.
Overall, an episode I learned to appreciate as an adult and now think is a decent one Final Score:6.7/10

Every time I re-watch this episode, I think the chaos wouldn't have happened if Sarah was honest with her brother. Plus the siblings played the Gang as fools for no reason. The only reason why the brother decided to help is because he probably felt guilty. It was all done for the sake of an episode which I didn't find as interesting as the others. The Sarah sister should be thrown in jail for wreaking havoc.

Nobody was even supposed to be at the amusement park at that point anyway. She specifically chose to sabotage Charlie then because nobody was supposed to be around to get hurt.

Top notch setting and atmosphere, but a very subpar plot makes this one not great unfortunately I changed my mind on this one a lot as well. I do find it to be great these days, and a large part of that is because of the top notch setting, but I think I was even underestimating the atmosphere back when I said this. It's extremely dark and unsettling, in a way that differs from the usual Where Are You episode. Still not my favorite episode or anything, but I think it was really silly of me to hold some of the things I did against it in comparison to weaker episodes like Decoy for a Dognapper that I had ahead of this

A haunted carnival is pretty ingenious. The robotics themselves may not have aged well, but the philosophy of robotics in business has never been as relevant as now with A.I., Boston Dynamics' Atlas units, etc. youtu.be/-e1_QhJ1EhQ

Charlie still looks and sounds futuristic to this day. It's an inspired design that has stood the test of time.
