Please post your comments here, NOT in the episode thread. Thanks!
I've started writing a new fanfiction, titled "Coast to Coast with Daphne Blake." It will be a sequel to "Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island," and will have Daphne trying to find more haunted attractions for her famous show with the rest of the gang.
Here's the introduction: Scooby Dooby Doo! Join Daphne and the gang for mystery solving mayhem with....Zoinks! Real monsters!
After losing her camera with evidence of real monsters on it, Daphne is more determined than ever to catch footage of real monsters for her now famous TV show, "Coast to Coast with Daphne Blake," with her cameraman Fred. Meanwhile, Velma tries to manage her horror book store when she isn't helping Daphne search for haunted attractions, and Shaggy and Scooby attempt to find a new job after they are fired for "eating all the contraband" at the airport. From creepy ghouls to blood sucking vampires, Daphne intends to capture it all on her video camera to help make her show more famous than ever!
Sneak peeks/upcoming descriptions: -Velma's book store is haunted by night by an unknown creature -The return of Scooby-Dee and some other relatives -Some parodies of famous horror movies -a parody of a "Simpsons Treehouse of Horror" episode -an explantation of why the gang is said to live both Coolsville and Crystal Cove - and some other surprises
More info to come soon!
Please post any comments, questions, and suggestions you may have!

This is certainly very interesting! It's something WB could have gone for instead of going for another semi-reboot with "What's New". I think it would have made a great series, and certainly an interesting read!

Actually, I already had planned to have an episode where the whole Doo family sees each other for a reunion (there will also be an episode with just Scooby Dee).

Excellent! I always wanted to write that, or watch a series based on the fictional tv show. Congratulations! Your ideas sound fantastic, actually.

Sorry for the delay on Episode 1......It's nearly done, and I hope to post it soon.
Here's some more sneak peeks/and an episode guide:
Episode Guide:
Episode 1---- Title, Description TBA (will be announced when I post the first episode) The only clue I'll give away is that it will include the 'reasoning' for why the gang is said to live in both Crystal Cove and Coolsville.
Episode 2--- Title, Description TBA (will be announced when I post the first episode)
Episode 3--- The Specter of Cerrie Mansion Daphne goes on the road with her camera to investigate one of the most haunted attractions in the world.
Episode 4--- Book Shop of Horror Velma asks Daphne and the rest of the gang for help when her bookstore is being spooked by a mysterious creature.
Episode 5--- Title, Description TBA
Episode 6--- Mayhem of the Mystery Melody With the help of Madelyn Dinkley, who has just returned from the Whirlen Mirlen Academy, Daphne and the gang investigate one of the most haunted houses in America, where the residents of the house claim to hear a spooky organ playing at night. There's just one problem---the residents don't have an organ! *Note: Although this episode will include a little Shaggy/Madelyn (Shadelyn?) relationship (much to Shaggy's resistance), I'm not going to throw it in your face or go heavy on the relationship story, so Shaphne/Shelma fan's don't have to worry about skipping over this episode.
Episode 7---Show Stopper During a rehearsal for her show, Daphne is nearly killed by a spotlight falling on her. She later finds out it wasn't an accident---it was the work of a mysterious phantom.
Episode 8--- The Mystery Weekend Daphne and the gang are invited to a mansion for a dinner party by a 'fan' of her show. But when they arrive, they become locked in the house, and must try to survive the night with a strange figure popping up randomly, and some mysterious cackling noises that can be heard throughout the house....
Episode 9--- The Haunted Swamp Daphne sets out to try to capture the Swamp Hag on film, a swamp monster who has been seen in the depths of Crystal Swamp.
Episode 10--- Moonlight Daphne and the gang are staying at a hotel in New Orleans where a werewolf has been scaring away all the hotel customers every night. Of course, Daphne is insistent on staying one night (which no one has done, and capturing the werewolf on film.
Episode 11--- Title, Description TBA
Episode 12--- The Doo Family Reunion The Doo family has a reunion.
Episode 13--Title, Description TBA
Episode 14--- The Return to Skull Island A very special episode, where Daphne is asked by her friend Lisa to come back out to Skull Island, where this time it appears the vampire really IS the ghost of her grandfather!
Episode ??- Nightmare on Scooby's Street A parody of the famous horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Episode ??- Abduction In a parody of the famous Simpsons episode "Hungry are the D*mned" (from the first 'Treehouse of Horror' special), the gang is beamed aboard a creepy alien ship by Kang and Kodos (if you're not familiar with The Simpsons, Kang and Kodos are the aliens who abducted The Simpsons family)
I haven't decided how many episodes I'm going to write yet, but it will be more than 16.
I'll try to post a more in-depth episode guide soon. Thanks for being patient and waiting for Episode 1!

I just posted Episode 1!
A few more sneak peeks/ things to know: -this series is rated PG-13, and has the same tone that Zombie Island does. -Episode 1 was intended to be a 'set-up' episode to introduce the characters and get a feel for the series. All the other episodes will have the same darker Zombie Island tone, although Episode 1 does not, because it was only to set up the characters/and backstory/problems that the gang will face. -the rest of the series will include more of Velma, Shaggy and Scooby than this one did. Although, because this series is centered around Daphne and her show, once in a while, some storylines will involve Daphne solving a mystery on her own instead of with the rest of the gang. -as promised, here's the description and title for episode 2: The House on Terror Hill: To avoid the cancellation of her show, Daphne goes to a house where vengeful spirits are seemingly everywhere.
Please feel free to post comments, even if they're bad. Believe it or not, I like reading the bad comments because it lets me know how I can make the story even better for next time! However, make sure your comments are posted here in the discussion thread, and not in the episode thread (to avoid clutter).

That was great, Doo! It definitely would've been a great concept for a TV show! I can just imagine it in the art style of "Zombie Island" with those actors in their respective roles....that would've been wonderful. WB really missed out on a great opportunity there!
