This was a really great and fun episode. I loved the swamp setting! And the Ghator Ghoul is such an awesome and original design! The introduction of Scooby Dum was cool. Though he's not the greatest character I always enjoyed the episodes he was in

Good episode better monster. This is one of those that is made by the monster. Arguably the weakest of the Scooby Dum episodes in my opinion but the others are fantastic so it's not saying that much

Re-watched this kind of recently, I forgot Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Dum's little dance when they meet. I knew the high-fives and stuff since they're in the opening credits but kind of forgot all the other steps. Interesting to think how the Doo family has different dances for their reunions - like Mumsy and Dada have their own ballet with Scooby in future shows. (I forget at the moment if there were any such scenes in A Pup Named Scooby, or other shows).

I agree that that is probably the weakest Scooby-Dum episode but all of his are pretty strong, to be honest. The swamp setting here is great and the Gator Ghoul is up there as one of my favourite villains of the entire series. Apart from them searching a couple interchangeable cabins, in the woods, the episode doesn't really go anywhere and my favourite scene is right at the beginning, with the ominous yellow glow.

Yeah this used to be one of my very favorites of the series for a while, until i rewatched it one time and realized it really doesn't go anywhere. Could've been an all time great if it had been written better, given the perfectly executed setting

Plot: This is the second Scooby episode I've ever watched. The gang trying to help Pa and Ma Skillett was so warming, the detective work was great and really helped the plot move forward and finally, Scooby Dum was awesome. His interactions with Scooby were iconic. He is one of my favorite side characters, and I wish we would have seen more of him, btw. 10/10
Set Up: Such a creepy and dark swamp. I enjoyed it, and I think it was a great fit for the mystery. 8/10
Villain: Gator Ghoul isn't one of my favorite monsters, but I was always considering him a Scooby-Doo classic villain. His design was cool, except for his glowing eyes. They were like car lights. 8/10
Final Score:8.7/10
