Did you like it? It's Scooby-Dum's first episode and I loved how we are introduced to him with his little dance! Shaggy was hilarious in this one, but isn't he always? Never doing the work and finding food instead. I loved Scooby's expression at the end of the episode after he found out what he had eaten! Scooby-Dum proves to be a great character and I instantly fell in love with him when I first saw this episode. I love the plot and the setting as well, it was very atmospheric. I really wasn't expecting the villain to be who it was, quite a shock! Also, Pat and Heather were excellent with their performances throughout.

It really was a cool episode, and I do enjoy mysteries set in swamps. But the best Scooby-Dum episode for me is "Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats".

dum was the most frequent of scoobys cousins to appear. he appeared in 4 episodes not including his appearances as a member of the scoobies doobies in the Laffalympics. originally he was scoobys brother, but that was later changed to cousin.

I do believe Shaggy called Scooby-Dum his "brother" in "Headless Horseman Of Halloween". It was said he's Scooby's cousin in this one though.

It was cousin predominantly in his appearances with "brother" only used once. I think it's probably just was an error in the writing or reading in the production.

It's a good episode. I love the gator ghoul's design, and despite his stupid and arguably annoying nature, I quite like Scooby-Dum. It's a shame he didn't appear much more often.
