What do you think of this episode? I really enjoyed it and loved seeing the gang all dressed up for Halloween! This also provides one of my favorite scenes in the series, with Velma and the bowling ball. I guess she isn't as smart as we all think! I really love Pat Stevens, she's excellent, Heather as well. Scooby-Dum was as hilarious as always. He manages to be so adorable! The villain was a bit predictable, but the plot was entertaining and it was full of hilarious moments.
I also liked hearing Janet Waldo as Beth, she really gave off that "Josie" vibe!

Great Halloween episode! And Scooby-Dum's appearance made it even better! I loved the part where the Headless Horseman threw away his pumpkin and went seeking for a head from Shaggy, Scooby and Dum. I can't believe Dum tried to take his own off!!!

Great fun. I really enjoy Scooby-Dum here. The airplane climax is a lot of fun as well.

Another one of the best and most iconic episodes of all time for me. This one creeped me out as a kid. Not only one of the best of the series, but yet again, one of the best in the franchise for me and is VERY close with Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats as the best of Scooby Dum. Excellent episode

Definitely a highlight with a truly great villain! I feel this episode takes a wee while to really get going but once it does it's absolutely fantastic. The airplane skit, at the end, drags on a bit but doesn't detract from the excellent, creepy moments that came previous.

Plot: One of my favorites of season one. I always like when the gang does high school stuff for a change, and in this episode we saw them having fun at a Halloween party, which was great. I also liked Beth, even if she had a small role. As for the mystery, it was awesome. There were plenty of clues to investigate, and the lore of the Headless Horseman was interesting. Finally, it is always a pleasure to see Scooby Dum. I love this character. 10/10
Set Up: The Crane Manor and Sleepy Hollow in general were a great and spooky setting, which fit the legend of the Headless Horseman perfectly. 9/10
Monster: My second favorite Headless Horseman (after the goblin king version, of course). He was a cool villain for a Halloween episode. Also, I enjoyed how much effort Elwood Crane went through to make the Horseman look real, according to the myth. 8/10
Final Score: 9/10
