I picked my copy up from morrisons for £5 in December , I have to admit it was really really interesting , has a few flaws but I can appreciate on what they were going for ,and it was interesting to hear velma's explaination as to why she's trying to solve and debunk every mystery she can the animation also looked a bit sharper and edgier just like mystery incorporated

Sorry to bring this up, since it's an older movie at this point. But Frankencreepy is one of my guilty pleasures.
As a writer, I hate this movie. I have my heart set against other backstory elements and having Velma being from 'the old country' and such, doesn't fit with my preferred history.
But other then that, and a few small details. I love this movie! While I can never use it for my own works. I am so happy to watch it again and again for all sorts of reason. The beginning with the blogging videos makes me happy, since they are all sitting around the malt shop with laptops next to each other. Enjoying each others company but kinda doing their own thing. Like real friends do.
Also, this film really feels like it loves the Scooby verse, but isn't taking it self so seriously. I mean the ending... come on. It is so poking fun at itself. I love it.
And well, Evil Velma is just so enjoyable. Because wow, she is pretty neat as a villainess (again) Even if she is well, don't want to spoil it.
I do feel bad for Fred, since they kinda make him a bit of a weenie, but I think most writers have no clue how the write the man as he was original intended. (The straight man in comedy is less prevalent in TV tropes, or at least more toned down. So it's not as common compared to back in the 60's.)
And while some people freaked out about how Daphne looks, if you pay attention to the whole idea behind it. It's rather good message. But most people just look for things on the surface, and could use a suit on their own to learn the lesson.
And well, sappy cute ending that makes me happy. Over all a great romp, ignoring a few minor annoyances. But it was a lot of fun, and I recommend it to anyone who might like Scooby. Though not the best gateway Scooby film, as I would recommend others before this one. But still a nice entry into the Scooby verse as a DTV flick.

Then there's the really evil Velma from Scooby Apocalypse #10. I have now gotten my grubby little hands on 1 through 10 of Scooby Apocalypse, and I have been waiting for a perfect time to settle in and enjoy it. So Ooooo, looking foward to 10. Though I am not too surprised, as one of the covers of Ten, has Velma in a throne, with barbarian looking gear, and chains to the rest of the group. Sooooooo... really curious. No spoils yet. I want a fresh experience. this uisntb the first time Velma has been the villan " Remember wheres my Mummy? She was the Guy in the mask, for once Yeah, I knew that hence why I put a (again) after saying vilainess. XD Though RussM is true, Velma wasn't technically the evil badguy. She just seemed to be. She was the person in the mask, while the treasure hunters were he villains. You definitely shouldn't see it before seeing the four episodes it ties in with. There are episodes that tie into Frankecreepy? I didn't know that, but enjoyed it all the same. I am a bit behind on most of the series, since they don't really sit right with me. Though I really need to give them a shot, just as a fan. But it's hard. But overall, I just enjoyed this movie. It has flaws, it has issues, but it's still fun. And loads to watch when the day might have been long, or rough.

Frankencreepy uses culprits from 4 classic episodes. The first Redbeard episode, The phantom shadows episode, the mamba wamba episode and the old iron face episode.

I don't think you really NEED to see them per say, since in the blog she does an overview of them all. But yeah, it's nice that it makes reference and uses old bad guys from the past. I did appreciate that they did that. Since well, there are a lot of probably unhappy villains over the years being put behind bars by "those meddling kids" XD

I would think there are some. I mean there are a LOT of bad guys they have put away, so there has to be some in that number. Though some did commit some of their acts for good reasons, like a few villains in WNSD series. Knowing at least there was the two kids in Wrestle maniacs that just wanted to stop their dad. So I bet there are some like that. Also the town of Oakhaven for perpetrating the Ghost of Sarah Ravencroft. Also, well, Velma was Cleopatra XD. Though I doubt the Treasure hunters she was up against, would have been so quick to leave their thieving ways behind. Well, at least their leader. Lackeys are easier to convert, I would think.

I doubt Gibby Norton bears them any ill will. Although he's really more of an annoyance than a true villain. He's like that kid who never learned to shut up. I mean in none of his appearances does he actually intend to cause harm. He's just annoying and reckless. Also he never seems to actually go to jail. He's always free to return in another episode without any mention of him escaping.
