jcb, you work in the show right? I'm a Shaggy fan, he's my favorite character in every Scooby series / film to date. Can you give me a take on how you'll be working with his character this series?
Also, why did you choose this type of Animation for the series? I'm sure you've read the millions of complaints on Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue Animation, though in my opinion the different plots made up for it. Why not use the MI Animation still? The films still use it.

I'm sure you've read the millions of complaints on Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue Animation, though in my opinion the different plots made up for it. Why not use the MI Animation still? The films still use it. If we used the more realistic character models like the original, the DVD's or MI, then the style of comedy we're attempting wouldn't work as well. The style we chose allows us to a greater range of emotions and effects, from extremely pushed, silly, absurd comedy, to truly poignant, heartbreaking moments - and everything in between. MI looks very different from SDWAY and from Get a Clue, the only difference us that we're slightly more pushed than those to allow us more storytelling and character freedom. I'm glad you like Shaggy. We're altering the core of Shaggy (and Scooby) much less than the others because who they are has already been very established over the years. They are just growing as characters in relation to how we've tweaked the other characters. If you love Shaggy, then you will be less surprised and very happy to be getting a Shaggy much like you've always known him.

Wait, you are from the studio? How neat! I have a question if that is okay. With the way the characters are looking I'm guessing they are rigged with bones and such in a program like in Anime Studio. Is that correct or is it simply the new look?

Jcb can you tell me how will you be working on daphne and Velma's personality Sorry, I can't get into too much details yet, but I will say that everything that's great about them - even everything that could be considered a "flaw" - has nothing to with their gender. They're just great characters. Daphne seems to be everyone's favorite in the new series. She is uniquely her own person in such a fun way. Velma was much more defined as a person going into it, so she needed less work to make more dimensional. In 1969 Daphne, however, was a cardboard cutout. "The Pretty One" and "danger prone," which means, to me, damsel in distress who needs rescuing by a big strong man. Daphne can take care of herself - in her own new, eccentric way, now, of course.

I would like to ask a sort of practical question, if you can snwer, of course: you said you finished writing season 1, how many episodes will it be? The classic 26 like SDMI?
