Sorry, guys, one cannot extrapolate when episodes will air based on network delivery date. I wish it were that simple.

You have probably already said it somewhere in this thread but,
JCB, are you writing any songs for this show? I was watching a special feature on a P&F DVD where you were writing the 'Floor after Floor' DVD, it looks like a load of fun writing those songs!

Sorry, guys, one cannot extrapolate when episodes will air based on network delivery date. I wish it were that simple.  But at least we're a step closer, I mean, it's progressing.. Well it should be released some day..this year I hope... :/ |

Yes, I will be one of the people contributing original songs. Will there be at least one original song per episode like P&F? That's the idea. We're bringing back the "romp" where the monster chases the gang around while an original song plays over it. We're trying lots of different approaches to find what works best for us. |

Well... I said what I said and the words are there, apparently read incorrectly.
I just deleted a nice long response because it will just incite more.
But yeah, it changes, and sometimes it doesn't remain the same, and that's the kick.
And, if this is only on Boomerang, well, Comcast doesn't have Boomerang, so, in the US, this is going to suck.
I haven't seen it air yet, and CN treated SDMI like trash.
Is it to be on CN or BR in the US?

I'm pleasantly surprised to see there is such heart going into the development into the new series. As in other spots of the forum, the business side of my mind can see the writing on the wall of more than likely why it was time for a wackier style for the next series. But I'm just thrilled to see it as a CHANCE to go in a different direction. I personally also enjoy to see a creative person mention historical perspective, because Scooby's history has always been a changing model. I gave Get a Clue and Mystery Incorporated shots even though I soured on them, i have no qualms about giving Be Cool it's equal shot. If anything reading through this hasn't really nudged me one way or the other in the end, as while I'm pleased about some elements, I admit my humor and story telling style don't seem to mesh as well with what's been described, but like that's ever stopped me from trying something new. Good luck on this incarnation and who knows my opinion might change. My only real question to add her is one i can't even imagine if you would know, as I'm sure each different part of the franchise is being handled separately, but do you have any knowledge if the live action scooby reboot replaced the animated theatrical scooby or if the two are separate projects? Since you are the closest link we have to the company, you might know or know someone that could give an answer to that, since so far i can't seem to find anything conclusive either way. Or if not know which facebook/twitter tree is the best to go sniffing around for that answer? |
