its ok, you're not dumb. the only animated show with more episodes than Scooby is the Simpsons which has over 400

Thanks. Yeah i have watched the Simpsons since like early 2000s, and i've always loved it. Can't believe there is over 500 episodes!

Yep that is a lot of episodes! I wish scooby-Doo had 22 episodes a year (or more) so we could have like over a thousand by now!

I wish scooby-Doo had 22 episodes a year (or more) so we could have like over a thousand by now! the problem is that scooby has gone through many different forms if you will. the longest in terms of episodes was mystery inc with 52, but given that be cools is 12th different version. those add up. over time

Yeah, they do. I told someone i know, that Mystery Inc. was the longest running scooby series, and she was kinda shocked.

technically, the early 80s scooby and scrappy series went 5 seasons.

Yeah that is true. Going by how Amazon.com sells them (they sell them as 5 seasons) it would have 62 episodes passing SDMI by 10 episodes. So technically SDMI isn't the longest running scooby series, but as of how many people count it, SDMI is the longest series. I guess cause the Scrappy Doo episodes had so many formats, so they just count as more then one series.
